Photographer Jo Whiteworth captures the glory of daffodils in individual portraits of plants, blended together in fields, hedges, and borders. Marilyn K. Noel Kingsbury covers, in just the right amount of detail, the story of the daffodil, from '...Their place in our culture' to a chapter on 'Cornwall, Centre of the Daffodil Universe' to breeders - 'Daffodil People', whilst also including plant lists and 'sources and recources'. Like other Timber Press publications the book is superbly produced with stunning photography by Jo Whitworth.

Even if you only have a passing interest this book is a great read and will inspire you. Definately a 5-star book!

This was bought as a Birthday present for somebody who has a special interest in the older type daffodils and was very well received. It was a interesting and well written book full of clear pictures to help with identification and included a well researched history of the flower. A lovely book to enjoy and keep on the bookshelf. Highly recommended.
