I have the TV dongle running with the Adapter cable attached and everything is working as it should. I required this cable to connect the aerial lead to the dongle.
I bought this little cable as the one I got with my PCtv broke down after some time. Unfortunately, the product I bought was very low quality- some wires didn't touch properly. It's hard to tell whether they are all that poorly made or was it just my bad luck.

I have a small spanish Werlisa Pocket TV PME390 black model TDT/MP3/MP4 that works great if connected to the building's antenna (it comes with a small antenna that may work in big cities, but I happen to live in a small town near the mountains, without good reception), or eventually on holidays, can be connected to a camping, caravan or to an external antenna (car, track, etc). I don't know why Werlisa doesn't sell this invaluable little cable that really works, or put it into the bundle pack when you buy this portable media reader and recorder (it records tdt tv & radio on a SD card).
It's just a simple and effective mini-antenna to a common antenna cable adaptor. That's it. No bells and whistles, just a simple connector that works. And cheap! Shipping was fast to spain, and that's all. Essential connector to anyone on the run, or the one who loves small gadgets because of small living space.
