Having been playing guitar for 18 years I have never experienced a pick like this before. I have VERY dry hands and all to often I can spend just as much time on the floor looking for were my pick has flown to as i do playing the guitar. There are few things as frustrating when your trying to learn a new piece of music and your pick goes A.W.O.L. but these puppies just hang on in there. They aren't for everyone as they are very thick picks (at least 1mm) and much smaller than regular sized picks but i've been using an ordinary Jazz III pick for a while now and loved it even when it did take off. So I can't recommend these picks enough. They are expensive but boy what you get for your money is pick grip perfection.

After I got a set of Kirk Hammett picks, one of which was the Jazz 3 I searched many guitar shops to no avail. After looking online to find them I came across these. I bought these back in 2011 and still have 7 in my pickbox. The rest I lost or gave to friends. They are probably not as sharp as when they were new but after 5 years I still use them every day. I should probably buy another set when I remember so I can find out how much they've actually worn. Either way, they are a 5 star pick. The perfect shape, the perfect thickness and the grip works wonderfully.

On my quest for the perfect pick I procured some of these. They are small, but the grip is excellent.
I play acoustic and electric. For acoustic picking the strings with these is great. Lovely sound. Strumming with these on an acoutic is rubbish. Awful sound. I prefer a thinner (0.43 dunlop) pick for strumming on my acoustic.
As for electrc guitar - great for strumming and picking.

In winter my skin becomes very dry and this makes it quite hard to play for holding onto a pick. I have to be careful which slows down my playing. I've been using Dunlop Ultex for years: I like 'em but I can't grip 'em - like an F1 car I need grip! I bought some Dunlop Tortex which offer some grip but still not enough. So, I tried these Dunlop carbon fibre picks and voilà! I've got grip! Only thing is they're a little smaller than I am used to but I can get used to that - at least I can play with confidence now.

I love these picks! I used a couple of ordinary jazz 3s and had mixed feelings about them, one one hand they have the perfect shape for playing, great attack and precision, but on the other hand they were so small and slippery to my massive hands that I had to stop using them.

THEN!!! I spotted these picks in my local music store and I have never used another pick since!

They have the perfect dimensions, even with massive hands. The grip texture holds very well, if you get the grip right at the start of the song, you won't have to re grip during the song.

Cannot recommend them enough, I just bought ten packets of these, that's 120 xD I filled a box and stuck it in my drawer, they should last a lifetime as the material (which isn't carbon fibre incidentally, no black residue, named for the aesthetics, very good material none the less!) Has about 10x the amount of play time before it develops a slant.

11\10!

Bought for our guitarist family relation for one of his birthday gifts, along with a glass slide. As he is an electric guitar player and plays metal these were recommended! I was a bit disappointed they only came in a clear plastic bag , as they are a present I was hoping they would be in a nice package, but not a problem as I can sort that, little pouches or boxes are cheap enough ;) A good price and fast delivery! :)

These are great picks. It took me a short while to get used to them, coming from the standard larger picks, but now I can't go back. These have a great grip, as you'd expect, and offer a lot of control and accuracy whether strumming or soloing. They're quite thick but still have good flexibility, and so far are proving to be very durable.

Started using the XL Jazz III picks and really liked them. I heard these were better and dicided to give them a go. There a lot smaller, but once you've got them in the right position they stick really well.

A 12 pack means I'm not going to run out of them soon, although as they're small I think I'll loose a few under beds/chairs etc..
