The only thing that was not so good was the pricing of the food. It is still cheap but we used the book to find a quick snack and the restaurant was more than double than in the book.
Also dont get the Buadpest Card, just by a public transport ticket for 2 or 3 days, much better value.
This is another excellent book in the series and strongly recommended for any visitor. In fact a friend of mine has lived in Budapest for several years (he married a Hungarian girl) and even he found things in the guide that he hadn't been aware of! Again though to anyone visiting this lovely city - and I recommend you do - get the Popup map! I'd also suggest you go in winter - the Christmas market is wonderful - you have stalls with people actually making things, including blacksmiths forges, and - when I last went 3 years ago, 2 bowyers (if you are interested in archery!)
I really like the parts that explain food and drink and where you can eat, whether you want sit down fine dining or street food.
I would recommend these guides to anyone travelling anywhere in the world.......they are the key to the cities and countries!

Great guide around the city, plus it has images in to help, unlike other travel guides. Very useful when deciding where you want to go/what you want to see.Published 5 months ago by Laura
Helpful book with good information. It would be good to include more things to do that aren't overly "touristy".Published 14 months ago by Luke
