This book really was fabulous: it covers all aspects that you may need and the tips are excellent. The guide allows you to plan your days without the feeling of missing out on the best features as every section recommends the top 10. Also, as the guide is divided into sections of different interests it is easier to see Prague from a personal viewpoint. The maps are clear and sufficient, especially the map showing the transport systems. A great choice!

Really great practical guidebook, light and robust. It helped us get a lot out of our time in Prague. Great as a quick reference tool, or for a more in depth read. Bars and restaurants for all tastes and budgets too. I have three Prague guidebooks, but this is by far the best. Thorough, well researched and well put together.

My friends and I were prepared to fall in love with Prague based entirely on this travel book. The street-by-street descriptions are right on the mark. The historical buildings are dissected to show you the interiors, a wonderful and unique way to give you the floor plans. There are also timelines throughout the quide to chart significant events of the major buildings and people of Prague. I read a large portion of the quide book before I left home, I kept it close to me the entire time I was in Prague for easy reference and I still keep it handy at home. This one is packed to bursting with all the information you could ever need. When I think of going on holiday now, the first thing I go looking for is a travel guide in this excellent series!

This book is the most comprehensive guide that anyone can ever take with them to Prague. I just came back from Prague recently and I must say I had a great time with the aid of this little gem of a book to help me find my way around the streets of Prague. I definitely recommend this book to anyone planning to visit Prague.

I spent three days annoying my wife and 12 year old son, providing a running commentary on the churches, theatres, museums and famous sites of Prague. If this wasn't enough, I even managed to bore them with the top ten rundowns of famous historical Czech figures, musicians and composers back at the hotel...now that's what I call a city break!

Out of all the travel guides, I have found the top 10 ones are always the best. This one for Prague is no exception. Not only is it good for sightseeing (and finding out what the student rates are etc), it also has pages for the top 10 restaurants in all the different districts. My boyfriend and I ate in two of them (we booked first, as recommended) and both restaurants were amazing - the price was as listed in our guide book and they were spot on about the chicken and banana fajitas in the Mexican place we went to! This guide book is a fiver well spent :)

I have a large number of these travel guides. What I like about them is their format - each book gives an overview (rather than lots of detail). It provides a summary of what is on offer. Inside is not just the obvious i.e. the Top 10 sights to see. Also you get things like the Top 10 museums & galleries, Top 10 markets, Top 10 Arts & Crafts, Top 10 events etc. - even the Top 10 things to avoid. That makes them very useful, and a unique approach to travel guides. I use them to decide what to do, and then use another book (or a website) to give me more detail if I need that.

This book covers, for example:
 Prague Castle
 St Vitus' Cathedral
 Old Town Square
 Charles Bridge
 The Loreto
 National Gallery
 Wenceslas Square
 Petrin Hill
 Top 10 Moments in History
 Top 10 Museums & Galleries
 Top 10 Places of Worship
 Top 10 Parks & Gardens
 Top 10 House Signs
 Top 10 Writers & Composers
 Top 10 Film Locations
 Top 10 Communist Monuments
 Top 10 Eccentric Prague
 Top 10 Haunted Places
 Top 10 Shops & Markets
 Top 10 Prague Dishes
 Top 10 Bars & Kavarnas
 Top 10 Restaurants
 Top 10 Children's Attractions
 Top 10 Clubs
 Top 10 Festivals
(This is some, not all)

The book in its physical format is small - just small enough to fit inside a DL envelope (i.e. the standard white envelope, designed to accept a sheet of A4 paper folded twice). It is actually a few centimetres shorter than a DL envelope. This compact size makes it easy to fit into your pocket.

This book can't provide detail - it can provide `the big picture'.
