Flew away! Fly at your own risk!
Wonderful little drone! My drone flew away and ditched in the river eye. However DJI investigated the the flight data and analysis came back as a warranty issue so they gave me a new drone drone free and gave me a new RC and 16gb SD card! If your thinking about this as a first drone make sure you have either the refresh scheme or £450 to replace it when you lose yours.

The DJI spark was my first foray into drones. It served me well for a few months and then I immediately upgraded to the Mavic Air.

However, the DJI is a fantastic entry level drone for those who don't want something too expensive. it is only let down by a few minor issues which shouldn't bother everyone.

      Pros
      - It is build like a tank - it can be crashed and it will most definitely be fine.
      - The propellers are foldable which is super convenient
      - The batteries charge all at the same time
      - It has a small profile
      - Comes with a nice leather bag

      Cons
      - It only has a two axis gimbal - so stabilisation is not comparable to the likes of the mavic series
      - It doesn't shoot 4k video - however, do you really need this? To be determined by the user really..
      - The arms do not fold down - which makes its profile seem bigger than it actually is when packing
      - The battery life is around 8-12 minutes actual use per battery

Overall, i would recommend the flymore combo as it comes with everything you need to get your drone adventures up and running. if you're up for spending an extra few hundred, then i would definitely recommend the Mavic Air. However, for what its worth, the Spark i believe is much more durable to crashes.

After previously owning a Phantom drone I took another punt and purchased this DJI Spark.
Ok it’s not 4K, but most people bring it down to 1080p anyway due to the enormous size a 4K video will be.
It flys great and sport mode is amazingly fast.
The hand gestures are a bit of fun for an hour, but that’s about it as they are very limited and you will soon become bored with them.
I got the Fly more combo purely because you get the controller and an extra battery along with guards/spare propellers and charger.
I also purchased a 3rd battery and am considering getting another 2 to make it upto 5 in total. This is due to the extremely small battery life on the Spark. DJI say 16 minutes, I am actually averaging around 10 minutes per battery which is pretty poor to be honest.

I am computer savvy - very. But this thing had me stumped. A nightmare to set up, it couldn't be more complex if they tried. I spent hours trying to get it sorted and I never got to fly it. The wifi would disconnect every few seconds, the drone camera would not switch on. The final straw was when, after a required firmware update, the wifi password would not work any more, both for the controller or for the iPhone, although earlier I had them working okay. It seems the drone had randomly changed its wifi password. I decided to return it. I want to have fun, not frustration.

The manual that came with the drone was impossible to read, I've seen bigger post-it notes. Video tutorials from DJI are useless. There are a plethora of other video tutorials on the Internet but they all seem to contradict each other. There is also a raft of bad reviews and complaints which I ought to have read before buying this drone, many others have give up on its set up and many who get it to fly only do so once as it just flies away and is never seen again.

I do not recommend this drone to anyone.

The drone as both good and bad points. The good points are its size and ease of use to fly. The bad points are the battery and the leather case you get in the combo pack. Firstly the case. It fits the drone and two batteries. However it doesn't fit the guards which come with the combo pack so the case becomes useless as you have to carry it in something else if you want everything to be together. Secondly the battery is very poor. In real world testing I got no more than 10 minutes of air time. You get it up in the air and before you know it you are bringing it back down again. Part of the reason for this is: when the battery gets to 30/25%, alarms go off on the controller and it warns you that it is running out of juice and needs to be landed. At £700 I want a drone I can fly for longer than 10 mins.

I bought this to take along when travelling, convincing myself that aerial photography is absolutely essential.

It's small, light and easy to transport, fitting neatly into a corner of a day pack. The remote and batteries are easy to charge up and pair with the drone and phone.

It took about 45 minutes to charge up the batteries prior to the first flight.

Within 3 minutes of taking the thing outside for the first time, I had it hovering in front of me, snapping pictures of my gleeful mug. When I say "I had it hovering" that's a gross misrepresentation of the truth, and makes it sound like I actually did something clever. Actually, all I did was find a flat spot on the ground, put the drone on it (the right way up), slid my index finger across the screen of my phone to launch the drone, and it hovered all by itself.

Flying it is also a doddle, as is taking pictures. I'm sure there's plenty of sophistry and functionality I could use, but for now, flying it up and around me to take pictures and videos of my surroundings is as far as I've got.

I've had it above 100m in height and as far away as 500m in distance from where I stand. Apparently, it can reach a distance of a 2 or so kilometers away, but I'm not that brave.

I flew it on a beach in Port Elizabeth (South Africa). PE is colloquially called the Windy City, and the wind was howling - not so much that it'd blow down trees or remove roof tiles, but strong enough to notice. It automagically hovered in place, and took pictures and video as if the wind wasn't blowing. It was constantly adjusting to the conditions, holding steady.

It even has software to automate the making of a videos, once you've filmed some. It even adds music.

Very impressed with it, and it takes great pictures/videos.

The attached video (I'm an amateur - don't judge) is nowhere near the quality of the actual footage, and has had to be compressed to make it small enough to load up. The actual footage is HD.

Eine der besten Drohnen zu diesem Preis. Schade, das sie nicht mehr produziert werden soll. Der Nachfolger wurde stark abgespeckt, fehlende Näherungssensoren u.s.w.
