A stunning monitor

This really is a absolutely stunning monitor. For those who are still on the fence deciding between this and a 27" 1080 monitor, then definitely pay the extra 60 quid and get this. 25" is a great size, because 1080 at 27" is too big, you see the pixels at normal viewing distances. However this monitor looks suburb, right up close 15 cm away.

Absolutely no back-light bleed, or dead pixels and QHD looks absolutely stunning! If your graphics card is up to it, then gaming at QHD is really amazing.

I exchanged a BenQ EW2740L for this and I defiantly made the right decision. It is SO much better! No dead pixels (tried x3 of the BenQ's, all had issues) or inconsistent back-lighting on this monitor compared to the BenQ.

I do photography semi pro/hobbiest level, and am really appreciating the calibration out of the box, with dell supplying a calibration print out and with 99% colour coverage it really is a god send at this price. I work in TV broadcast and use OLED monitors costing 20-30 x this price on a daily basis and I have to say this is the best consumer grade monitor I have used under 500 quid, it's a steal at this price (Amazon's). I can't believe how sharp it is and the blacks are great, gives my display on my MBPr a run for it's money.

I really cannot fault this monitor. It even comes with a USB 3 link! Awesome. BUY IT NOW!

1440p resolution in the best package around

The U2515H is all the rage at the moment and it is easy to see why. With a whole host of adjustment options, a super slim bezel and the ultrasharp colour accuracy, it is a very versatile monitor for the price with full tilt and swivel adjustments and the 1440p resolution is lovely coming from 1080p.

It took my eyes a few days to adjust to font size but once set up correctly everything appears much clearer and there is an awful lot more real estate on screen to play with which makes the experience of using the desktop rig much nicer. Of course it doesn't quite compare to 4K, nor does it have the same pixel count as an Apple Retina Display, but the experience is comparable, and I feel as though with the correct display scaling, the leap between 1080p and 1440p would seem bigger than 1440p to 4k.

The colour accuracy is very good and showed up my previous LG IPS display and whilst you may need to tweak this for professional work it does come pre-calibrated from factory with a print out with graphs to prove this. Viewing angles are very good too but being a matte IPS display you do get some glow with blacks which is to be expected with this display technology - however there is no noticeable backlight bleed like you get on many monitors so that's a nice plus. The matte coating isn't as harsh as some other displays I have had either

The adjustments are endless and there is VESA mounting capability too with some nice cable management as well as a whole host of ports so it is a very versatile display, and due to the slim bezel make for a wonderful multimonitor setup (I have two of these on my desk as pictured).

Overall, unless you are desperate for a high refresh rate for gaming, the U2515H is probably one of the most full featured and attractive 1440p monitors out there. The only drawback I have to speak of is the capacitive touch controls on the front, whilst premium feeling I cant help but notice I sometimes have to stroke/jab the power a few times to get it to register.

If someone offered you a million pounds to get the screen out of the box in less than a minute. You couldn't do it. Its packed in card (alot of card) not your normal polystyrene. Its different shall we say.

I use this monitor for emails, internet, Photoshop and Gaming & PS3.

I've had this monitor for a couple of months now. I run an online biz so it's in use everyday. I also use it for Graphic design (photoshop) and for me this is where it really excels. Its so crisp, so clear, the colors and so good. I'm very very happy.

If you use this 1440p screen for gaming via PC then its performance will depend on your graphics card. I have a GTX 960. And this card just misses the mark. As in I have to turn down a couple of settings to keep the FPS(frames per second) as high as possible. Having said that this doesn't effect my enjoyment of any games at all! But if you do buy this screen and do alot of gaming(i don't) then GTX 970 or 980 are better graphics cards suited to 1440p gaming.

I linked up my PS3 to this screen and it's not as sharp as 1080p screen (PS3 is a 1080 console, so picture is being spread over more pixels on this 1440p screen). But you soon get used to it and I don't even notice it.

There are no speakers on this monitor - I have my hardon/karmon speakers plugged it at the back of the screen and they work wonderfully.

The controls on the monitor are annoying. Its touch sensitive but there are no lights or grooves to feel, so in a darkened room, you just press along the bottom in hope. They wanted a nice sleek design but its not practical. luckily you dont have to go into monitor settings often. But for the overall quality of the screen its something I think you can forgive.

I would totally recommend this screen. BUT not everything is geared up for 1440p so depending on your equipment and spec you might not need the 1440p and could save some money and go for a bigger cheaper 1080 screen. Its something to think about.
