4.0 out of 5 stars This is a must-have for die hard GL fans! 14 May 2014
By Colton Hensley - Published on
I currently have 3 out of 9 (potential) lanterns colors. Last I checked they currently have Green, Blue, Orange, Yellow and Pink released but have Black and White planned for 2014 releases. I own Green, Blue and Orange and love them! I have a huge GL collections or figures, books and these are the items that could take any fan to being a huge fan. They feel high quality, they weight around 5-10 lbs., and they look great sitting at the end of a desk or in a bookshelf. My only 2 small issues, which alot of other reviews seem to feel the same, is that it has an ugly compartment on the bottom that it were you turn it off/on and insert the batteries for the light-up feature. It would have been nice to have a cover for that so it looks 100% like a replica. Also, no "keep the light on" switch. I get why, it would burn out alot faster and I'm assuming you can't just replace the light bulb if it goes. That being said, it would have been nice. I'd love to have this as a lamp basically! Anyways, this is being increasingly harder to find and I hope to one day say I own them all but currently these are a need to have item for those out there that support Green Lanterns light!

3.0 out of 5 stars orange lantern 13 Dec. 2013
By Mr. EggRolls - Published on
Don't get me wrong when I opened this bad boy I thought it was AWESOME. But as I got to play around with it. I realized it's not as great as I thought. When you light up the battery around the edges where the mouth (battery lights) connects to the center of the battery you can see the orange light bleeding through the edges. Keep in mind this is just a spray painted resin prop statue. I think it would've been better if it was translucent with an orange light bulb. Also if there was a switch where I could just keep it on from time to time rather then touching it with the ring every 30 seconds or so. It's still a great prop and great gift for fans. It feels fragile so I wouldn't recommend dropping it, standing on it, accidentally smacking it against the wall or someone's face and what not if you decide to play around with it in your orange lantern corps outfit. (With that said I do not recommend attempting to leave an Orange Lantern ring symbol on someones forehead. It might actually break.) The ring not their forehead.
