Front/Down pipe guard fitted well even though the down pipe of my bike is an awkward shape and the gear cables
for the bike run under the down pipe.
If you go off road and go over jumps the front guard can move slightly as its held on by straps but still quite secure.
Look really nice on the bike and does exactly what I want it to do.
Instructions are not clear but montage is easy, not much can go wrong.
Anyway I'm disappointed because I bought the *titanium* colour but what I got is just metallic grey, not like in the picture and the logo is embossed only in the plastic (not 3 colours).
edit: almost 3 years later they are still perfect. I keep them both on summer and winter so sun, rain, cold and hot didn't make problems. Also the plastic is flexable and it won't break if the bike falls or so.
The protection from water coming from wheels (well, this is what they're for) is good but not perfect (I think this also depends on the tyres you use).
I have been on quite a few muddy rides on the mtb around Stockport and get almost no mud at all up my back. Best rear mudguard I have ever used.
I bought the twin pack but have not fitted the front yet as I am still using a guard I transfereed from my previous bike.
The rear mudguard, though, came with a slight bend at its end. Assembly seemed simple until I noticed it moved sideways. A LOT. Fortunately the package came with additional rubber strips of varying thickness so you can fix the problem. The self-tapping screws provided had somewhat blunt ends as opposed to pointy ones. Nevertheless, after several calibrations the mudguard was finally fitted and can finally do its job.
i do have a cover for my bike and find sometimes the back guard gets a bit mishapen, it is only thin plastic but after all if it does the job why moan :o)

Bought rear only.
Broke second time used. Caught with leg when dismounting and broke the clamp. Definitely not robust enough for mtb. Replaced with SKS, which is superb. Read more
