The title says it all - a beginner's guide to cycling to work. A great book if you are thinking about cycling to work, but if you already do a bit of cycling you will probably know more than enough to do without this book. It has a number of useful web links as well as chapters on buying a bike, getting started and a very basic cycle maintenance section.

Having just started cycling again after nearly 50 years, I was not only wobbly on a bike but needed to come to terms with modern traffic and road sense. This book has been a great help in enabling me to understand and practise cycling in busy traffic.
Having driven for 5o years I had forgotten how vulnerable one feels on a bike but this book has made me feel much more prepared and confident.
