Each project starts out with a blurb about the quilt and continues with materials and cutting lists. The written instructions include graphics to help you understand the written words. If templates are needed, they are provided at 100% so no running to the copier for enlargements is needed.
I like all nine quilts but I find that too many have items I wouldn’t want around my baby. There are only two that I would make for a baby: Rick Rack Ruffles and Tromp, Chomp, Stomp. The others have buttons, material that I feel is too rough for a baby or simply too many 3D items. Of course, embroidery can be substituted for the buttons and material can be changed to some other type and the number of 3D items can be reduced. But as the patterns sit, I find only two I would use as is.
If your child is 3 years old or above, any of these quilts would be ones that a child would love to have. With subjects like butterflies, cars, animals or boats, there will be a quilt that is perfect for the small one in your life.
