The last half of the book gives detailed instructions on beginner's methods of solving all the cubes from the 2x2x2 to the 7x7x7. The book is just about big, heavy and floppy enough so that you can lay it on a flat surface and it will stay open on the current page so you can refer to it while you use both hands on your cube. I noticed a couple of small typos here but the accompanying diagrams are pretty clear, so the mistakes in the text are easy to spot and correct.
I would have preferred the book to have more history and background material with the solving instructions being compressed to make the room. But I don't regret buying the book - I just wish it were a bit longer!
The first half of the book comprises tedious information about the origin of the cube - normally I'm the "Statto" type so I was surprised how uninteresting I found it.
