Worth buying just for the Visual Graphics

I'm a late convert to all the hype about this game and I'm using I52500k overclocked to 4.3 GHz and a GTX 560 with this game. Therefore, this game holds no fears for owners of a Sandybridge CPU with a mid-priced graphics car - high resolutions can be consider a norm with this game in these conditions.

This game is on another planet visually to other games that get a console based PC release. Amazing to see and amazing to hear even though the game mechanics is simplistic and unchallenging.

Worth buying just to see what a gaming PC is truly capable! It leaves consoles and it games in the wake of its dust. It is a shame more PC video games are not made to unleash true visual power of a Gaming PC.

A superb visual and audio experience! A cheap buy for PC owners with mid-range gaming PC capabilities! Buy and be visually amazed!

Only one part out of three works

Eventually after some control problems got the first part of this tri-pack of Crysis games working. Once into it found it quite addictive, except as an adventure it was too short. About the quickest I've played any game since the original Mass Effect.

Problem is that the second part of this pack, Crysis- Weapon doesn't function at all, cannot, whatever I've tried, get this game to start. It loads onto my PC and is updated, but still doesn't work. Off-loaded and re-installed game three times but it still doesn't work. and sadly the final part of this pack doesn't come out much better [Not that I'm too concerned about playing Wars, anyway]

So at the end of the day I've bought one game that works for the price of three

I have never played a 1st. person shooter until this. I bought a new pc last summer. Pretty much latest spec. etc. and for some reason the demo. for Crysis 2 was pre-installed. Over Xmas 2011 I was feeling pretty bored, having just finished The Witcher 2, (dissapointing) so tried Crysis 2 demo. I must say after 15 mins. I was hooked so ordered Maximum edition.
Its the only game that I have ever consecutively played through 3 times, increasing the difficulty level each time and each time finishing faster.
Actually this is not quite true because I played Crysis 2 then Crysis Warhead then Crysis 2 and so on until I had played 6 times.
Never got around to Crysis Wars because I have a rural connection and struggle to play any on line games.
All in all I never knew what I was missing with this kind of game, absolutely great fun and will be almost impossible to follow up.
Is it the best game I have ever played? Quite possibly.

Kept hearing how stunning this game was and what a benchmark it set on PC's hardware and yes it does push my gaming Pc graphics/processors & Ram to the full but worth it. Great game play, suspense and action, stealth or guns blazing, your choice. My pc required program to close/low on memory at high video settings, runs ok on medium, but thought 4Gb ram, 2.6Mhz Quad core and an MSI N460GTX Cyclone 768 ram with Vista OS be fine, so be warned Vista needs a 3.2Mhz processor as it says on the box. No Need to overclock as other software upsets game. Had long chats with EA support as game crashed lots, Cleared temp files, temp internet,turn off all internet virus checkers/firewalls & run Clean boot, but still crashed, so last of all they recommended that i create another administrators account and instaled it there. EA support chat line always there to help but have latest DxDiag file to send.Hope this helped

Not being a FPS fan, I become "converted" after playing Crysis 2 in my PS3. So after it, I decided to gave a shot at its origins, and altough this is a game with 5 years, after Crysis 2, I was eagger to try it.
And let me tell you that it runs smootlhy on medium specs with my already old HP laptop (HP G62-a35EP with 1.86 GHz Intel Pentium Processor P6000, 4GB and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470). It's not running on high, but it still has amazing graphics.
The controls and hub are a bit different from its sequel, but the sandbox world is a plus, from my point of view.
I will not go deeper on the game review, as there are plenty of those around here.
But on top of everything, 8,98 GBP for 3 amazing games? You truly can't miss it. Buy it!
