One of the first ever dub albums I ever heard, and still right at the top of the favourite lists.
As music goes, it's very intelligent music and a little bit eccentric. Heavy bass juxtaposed by the high frequency bird like synthesiser with awesome vocals. Just listen to it and you'll soon find your body rolling with it. Yeah man.
Chilled and powerfull at the same time, dub doesn't get much better than this.

This is what reggae is all about. Shake the Nation is a monster classic that just didn't get played enough in the mainstream. Plant up was played once on John Peel on Radio 1 one night, and this prompted me to research all the Crytuff Dub Encounter chapters. This and chapter 4 (very rare) are my favourites. Some music just speaks for itself, and this instrument set features some beautiful dub arrangements, with slowly-flanged hi-hats, echoed rhythm guitars, and the occasional smattering of thought-provoking lyrics from the Prince and some gorgeous-sounding backing girls. I love this. Get it if you can.

A fantastic collection of dub roots reggae by the late Prince Far-I-funearal in mood, only gets uptempo for the last track which is an absolute blinder!!The dub versions here of many of their tracks work really well.I think it's the best in the cry tuff series.
