Some people said that they knew what the mystery was. I had didn’t really think of what was to come, but I did have my suspicions. When the Hunter’s identity was revealed, I was shocked!
I gave this book a 5 rating, because I loved it so much. I loved Hunter’s love towards Cami and their cute relationship. The whole book was beautifully crafted and I would love to read the next book.
What I loved the most about this book, was the fact that it was a dual narrative. I love dual narratives because you get to see both sides of the story.
I would recommend this book to everyone who likes high school romance mystery and a jock that falls for a normal girl!
The item came in perfect condition and safely packaged. The quality of the cover is not very strong, it is thin and bent easily. The paper inside is thin but okay quality. The writing size and font is really big but easy to read and overall the item is good.
This book was an easy, fun read with engaging characters but it was too predictable. A book only has suspense if you are not sure what is going on. I guessed Hunter's secret and all that revolved around it early on. I read by absorbing rather thinking, so for me to know what the suspense was without even trying to figure it out means it really was obvious. The reveal came as no surprise. Crush was enjoyable but didn't ring my bell. so for that i am giving it a 3 star rating
Miss Marple here sussed the secret that our hot bad boy Hunter is hiding pretty early on so what followed wasn't the big shocker moment it was perhaps meant to be. Despite that I still enjoyed seeing the story unfold and reading between the lines to figure out what was really going on. It was actually a fairly original plot so that made for a pleasant change.
Without wanting to sound like the resident horn dog around here, I could've done with a lil smut. The kisses were fine but PG; we never got any more action than first base...:-/
There's more in this series but there's no cliffhanger.
Russ which is Hunter/Dylans friend, had to be the best character out of all them. All his lines made me physically laugh out loud and I found myself wanting him to have a happy ending too.
I recommend this to anyone that love a 'High school romance' and comedic characters.
