"How many dudes DO YOU know who can flow like this? Not many...If any." This is a great CD, it shows that rap/HipHop is truly international and this rapper sure has the skills to match many of his US or UK counterparts. I first heard Scribe, (who I believe is from New Zealand, which has a growing HipHop scene) on Rodney P and Skitz Original Fever radio show on 1Xtra and thought that he was talented, so decided to track his CD down. And I personally believe it to have been worthwhile.
Buy this and support the international HipHop scene.

The Crusader, as an album, has it all, some hard hip-hop, some melodic, and some tunes so catchy you'll be humming them all day. After traveling through ew zealand and hearing some of the local delicacies, i told myself to get album asap. its worth it. a break from the monotanous US hip-hop scene, this is fresh sounding. thumbs up to australasian hip-hop!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Simple beats, decent vocals; good first taste of NZ hip-hop. 20 May 2005
By C. R. Hannemann - Published on Amazon.com
I was given this album by a kiwi I befriended while studying abroad in Wellington last year after having heard several of the tracks in New Zealand clubs. At the time, Scribe was topping all of the charts and playing on every radio station we tuned to. "Not Many" and "Stand Up" are both anthems of self-enfatuation, making them common emulations of mid/late-90s US rap. "Dreaming" is pretty smooth and definitely worth checking out. Overall, the album is a good listen and incorporates simple but appropriate beats--the lyrics leave something to be desired, though, so don't go looking for any deep inspiration on this record.

Up and coming "kick ass" New Zealand rapper. This young man is going to be one of the best! Keep an eye on him.
