    Great speeds as long as you don't move more than around 30-40GB at once. Won't make a difference in gaming or day to day use, so great value for the speed/capacity.

    UPDATE: Performance has disappeared after around 2 months of usage (please see crystaldiskmark screenshots). I have no idea why but I have tried reformatting, reseating etc to no avail. Buy with caution

    These SSDs are low-end devices and the firmware is badly written. We’ve tested them with several mainboards and some of them don’t even recognise it. Other setups result in unstable systems, and when investigating further we discovered that these modules do not implement the NVMe spec properly. Avoid these cheap low end modules.

    Installation was fairly straight forward, had to remove the graphics card to slot it into my motherboard but it was to be expected. Motherboards should come with them included, but it would have been nice if Crucial provided a M.2 standoff and screw in the package.

    Performance wise it's faster than expected, but you will run into the QLC issue occasionally and that will drop down write speeds quite dramatically to 60MB/s.

    Main real complaint is that the P1 controller (3rd temperature) does reach >80C if you stress it with lots of writes and can throttle (which seems normal for NVMe drives). Usually it sits between 50 to 70C during normal use.

    Update: Would highly recommend you get a cheap little heatsink for this SSD, it'll delay the controller throttling and improve responsiveness if you use it as an OS drive. It's not really needed if you just use it as a secondary/game drive.

    And a word on endurance, it's really good! I'm at over 6TB of writes and the drive still has 98% life remaining, Micron's QLC is impressive.
