1.0 out of 5 stars Worst cross stitch book ever 28 Mar. 2012

I ordered this based on the cover. Well, that is the only decent pattern in the whole book! The designs are tired and sad. Book size is small and the charts are minute...seriously impossible to use. Do not buy it, I beg of you!
4.0 out of 5 stars It's not all bad! 3 May 2015

While some patterns are indeed small, there are some gems in here! I particularly liked the Celtic section as well as the runners. That being said many of the patterns are either meant to look historic or based on retro designs. There are plenty of well sized charts, though some are rather small for the very large projects.

3.0 out of 5 stars one flaw, a pretty big one 29 Jan. 2016

I like that this book has many designs not very common, for example, drangons and unicorns. But the font is small and there is one design (one that i kNow off as of right now) which the chart is printed across two pages and the very middle of the chart cannot be seen. I will upload a pic for reference. I really wanna stitch that design (a dragon with wings) but sadly unless i break the book, i will not be able to see the chart. It is very upsetting
