When convenience is key and space is low, look no further then the judd folding bike from Critical Cycles. Whether you're pedaling your way across campus, heading in to the office, or packing up the RV for a quick getaway, the convenience of this folding bike is unmatched. However, convenience isn't the only thing the judd brings to the table. This bike is constructed with quality components and materials to ensure a smooth ride that is easy to handle and gets you to where you need to be. The judd's aluminum frame is 30% lighter than our competitor's steel and chrome alloy framed folding bikes. We have also equipped this bike with a rear coaster break, which eliminates the need for any chords or wires making it easier to fold up when you're in a hurry and on the go. The 20" wheels allow for faster acceleration and require less force from your legs in order to pedal, making getting from point a to point b a breeze. This bike also comes with kenda kwest commuter tires with rounded tread and large water dispersion grooves, which means you're ready to take on the streets, no matter what the day's forecast may be. When you arrive at your destination, the judd utilizes it's folding handlebars, top-tube and pedals to effortlessly fold up to 10"x30"x22" allowing you to store it essentially anywhere. It is so compact that you can store it indoors, eliminating the weather damage that comes with storing larger bikes outside, increasing the longevity of your new two-wheeled companion!

However I was pleasantly surprised, it's not too heavy and the welds are tidy.
All parts are generic, but at this price point that's to be expected.
The only downside for me is it needs a bigger gear: it's too easy to pedal!

I like the foldability to throw in the car or store in the house. Plus, the pedals actually fold up, which makes it even more compact (my other bikes lacked this feature). I didn't even realize the bike had a kick-stand, it was so neatly tucked away.
I specifically wanted a bike with coaster-brakes and single-speed for simplicity and solidity. I've had bikes in the past where the brake-wires tangled or the chain constantly fell off -- give me something with as few parts as possible please.
I ordered the matte teal frame color with the tan seat, and boy does it look nice. I went out riding literally ten minutes after it was delivered. I took off the wrappings, unfolded it, pumped up the tires and away I went.
I'm only a casual and occasional bike rider so I don't plan on driving the bike too hard, but so far it seems really solid compared to bikes I've had in the past. If anything, the bike was slightly larger than I expected but the 30lbs weight is very manageable.
Overall, the bike exceeds expectations.
DO NOT buy the expert assembly. it comes almost completely together.
Edit it's been over six months and I still love the bike!!!! Had trouble with a pedal but was able to fix it myself.
-it’s light (easy to carry up apt stairs)
-folds up really small, easily fits in a small car trunk and can be stored in a closet
-good for short, leisurely rides
-super easy to put together, no expert assembly is necessary
-single speed means it’s not good on hills and does not go very fast
-the smaller wheels make you feel very low to the ground, and if you’re riding on a city street, that can be pretty intimidating
Initially, I bought this little foldy to use for short rides around my NYC borough neighborhood. Nothing crazy, just to and from the park, gym, grocery store, visit friends, etc. It was meant to be an intro bike as I got over my city cycling nerves. It certainly served this purpose well. I also naively signed up to do the 5 Boro Bike Tour after I bought it. It was through sheer force of will that I was able to do the tour on that little bike!! The other cyclists stopped often to tell me how “cute” I was and to skeptically wish me luck, which I totally deserved and find absolutely hilarious in hindsight. My main takeaways from that experience are a) I have a lot more willpower than I ever knew! and b) get a dang regular sized bike! (which I did, not long after the 5 Boro Bike Tour!) Still, I do love my little Citizen bike and it’s come in handy as a beach cruiser for weekend getaways. Just don’t think you’re going to be Lance Armstrong on this thing!
When I contacted the company they told me the instructions were online. But I had received the package in a place with no internet connection. Furthermore, there was no piece of paper in the box stating where the web address of the instructions were. i have returned the bike.
