a fun and interesting historical mystery
15 June 2016 - Published on Amazon.com
The series continues to entertain. I especially like to read about the immigrant's life in the early 1900s. It's interesting to read about South Bend, Indiana's history and about society's classicism and treatment of immigrants. The spirited character of Hilda is fun to watch develop. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Many characters to relate to, but they were well developed. The pace was slow, although I wanted to keep reading and have the mystery resolved.

Loved the story and the characters. I live in South Bend, IN, so I was especially interested in the local references.

This author is fantastic! I only live 25 miles from South Bend, IN and who knew there was so much activity there in times past.
