From the manufacturer
Cressi's experience dates to 1939 and to brothers Egidio and Nanni, who shared a passion for the sea and a natural proclivity for design and prototyping. These qualities led to their first achievements in masks and spearguns. By 1946, their products had become so well known that they founded today's Cressi in Genoa. Since then, the family company has designed, developed, and manufactured recreational equipment that it sells around the world.

When halfway round the trip, the heavens opened, we soldiered on in the rain until we found a pub for shelter (handy) and we watched as the skies cleared and the storm passed by. I was delighted to find that although there were things outside the dry bag that were wet (but inconsequential - like my water bottle and the outside of my tupperware of sandwiches) and indeed the outside of the dry bag was wet - when I came to open it - the contents were bone dry! A quick change in the pub loo and I felt ready for anything! So much better than a soggy walk back to the car.
I will be investing in a new rucksack for hiking, but this really proved its worth on the recent walk and I shall probably use it for other watery activities - such as boating, in the future. The single strap is okay - but I don't find it the most comfortable to wear on its own - so for me this is definitely a bag to pop in another bag.
Personally I'd probably prefer something a little squarer - this is quite long and narrow. However that really is a minor quibble about a bag that is decent sized and would be great for anyone wanted to keep things dry on the water.
