I would recommend this product and must say its of good quality
I WAS SENT THIS ITEM TO GIVE AN HONEST REVIEW AND THAT IS WHAT I INTEND TO DOI have to start by saying that this product was delivered in very quick time. Also that the product was very well wrapped protecting it from and damage that could occur whilst being delivered. I think this is a fantastic piece of kit that is of good use to many people. Its a perfect size and is very light so you dont even know your carrying it.The multi meter has many different setting and have a very good range to it. The lcd screen on it is also very clear to see and easy to use even for people with a poor vision. Also the meter has a back light to help see the screen in poor light. The probe also are of good quality and are very strong so they would take a lot of misuse. On the back of the meter is a small hinge to stand the meter up if you require toI would recommend this product and must say its of good quality

Since I don't have any electrical qualifications, I just wanted a basic & simple to use multi-meter to advise on simple things such as voltage of batteries & the completion of a circuit by beeping. Well, for the money spent I was not too hopeful that the quality would be satisfactory but I couldn't have been more wrong; it looks & feels like a high quality item & works as intended. Sure, it can do hundreds of things that I have no idea on, & the user manual is next to useless but it does the basics that I need extremely well which is the reason for it's purchase; in time I am sure that I will find out everything else that it does but that it purely a bonus for me. Put in a battery that I had laying around & the multi-meter is a fantastic addition to my growing tool collection; I would highly recommend purchasing it if you want a simple multi-meter that feels like it was well designed & can no doubt do far more than I will ever need; I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this to anyone.

Bought as a cheap second meter for the times I need to measure both voltage and current together on 2 multimeters and was surprised to get a pretty decent multitester with some bonus features, like memory/store, that I didn't expect to get at this price.

Overall the meter appears robust and well constructed, and accurate when tested alongside my other test gear.

The test probes and the continuity function are the only 2 aspects that remind me that I paid only £14 for this meter. The probes appear a little cheap and plasticky and the continuity function is not that alert - I expect it to snap into action when the circuit is made but it kind of lazily acknowledge the connection and requires a very solid connection, unlike my Fluke which just oozes quality.

However as I said everything else appears to work very well and I would definitely recommend it at this price.

This Is a very robust piece of equipment. It has more functions than I am ever likely to us. I bought it for my car and motorbike. I checked before I bought it and its rated in the top 5 multimeters. The other ones with higher ratings cost around £100- or more. So when I factored in the incredibly low price on this one it had to come out top. The instructions that come with it are very basic. Just a key to explain what the different symbols and such are and how to access them. However there are a number of videos on youtube that explain exactly how to use this or any other multimeter so that is not an issue. Its probably unrealistic to expect the manual to explain how electricity works ;) The other thing which I found funny was I couldn't figure out how to put in the batteries. Then I noticed a screw on the battery cover duh ;). All in all this is a solid robust piece of equipment made by a world renowned company and its rated in the industry extremely highly. So at this price I don't think there is anything more to think about. Buy it, even if you seldom use it at this price its a bargain

Descent into Uncertainty: The Crenova MS8233D Multimeter

Ah, the Crenova MS8233D – a multimeter that promises the world but delivers a grand disappointment. 😩 From the moment you lay eyes on this unassuming device, you'll be struck by a sense of unease, like a dark cloud looming over your electrical endeavors.

Let's start with the purported "multi functions." While it does indeed measure various electrical quantities, the accuracy of these measurements is about as reliable as a broken compass. 🧭 You might as well be taking readings from a crystal ball, because the results are often so far off from reality that they'll leave you questioning your sanity.

But fear not, for the "over load protection" feature is here to save the day! Or is it? 🤔 This supposed safeguard is about as effective as a paper shield in a hailstorm. Brace yourself for random shutdowns, inexplicable errors, and the occasional whiff of burnt electronics – because overload protection is merely a suggestion to this multimeter.

Moving on to the "large LCD display," which is about as clear as a mud puddle. 🌫️ Squinting and straining your eyes will become a regular occurrence, and don't even think about relying on the backlight feature, which is dimmer than a dying firefly.

And let's not forget about the "special features" that are about as special as a wet sock. 😒 The "data hold" function is more like a game of Russian roulette, and the "maximum value hold" is about as consistent as a toddler's mood swings.

But hey, at least it's "easy to use," right? 🤷‍♂️ Well, that's debatable. The instructions are about as clear as hieroglyphics, and you'll find yourself fumbling through menus and buttons like a blindfolded contortionist.

In the end, the Crenova MS8233D is a multimeter that embodies the essence of mediocrity. It's not outright terrible, but it's far from being a reliable or accurate tool. 🥴 If you're looking for a multimeter that won't leave you questioning your entire existence, it might be wise to invest in something a little more dependable – unless you're a fan of uncertainty and frustration, that is.

Excellent piece of kit at a very good price. The manual is awful in that the translation is very poor. So long as you already have a good idea what these things do should not be a problem. Build quality seems good - just looking at the test leads supplied with the product shows that the design has not been driven purely by cost. One minor irritation is that the display value is not at all steady until a measurement is actually being taken - then it is consistent and accurate enough. Overall definitely recommend.
