About the Author

Kristen Ashley grew up in Indiana, but has lived in Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least), but loopy is good when you want to write. Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched). Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up. And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

This book is the second in the series and I loved it a bit more than the first book.
Creed and Sylvie were friends from a young age, both bonding over rubbish parents and a bad homelife.
They were each other's shoulder to cry on, each other's strength.
Creed was older than Sylvie so when feelings came into play he had to be careful. They wanted to be together forever but you don't always get what you wish for.
Where did it all go wrong, years of being separated never knowing what happened. What went wrong.
Years later they work together for Knight ( book 1)
Sylvie needs answers but is she ready to hear them. Creed wants her to understand his reasons but will she accept them?
Can they work together with the history between them, because the job they do they need to trust each other completely.
They are both in for a bumpy ride to say the least. Will they get the hea they deserve, well you need to read to find out.
There are so many questions that need answers.
Loved this book, Creed is such an Alpha Male I adored him and Sylvie is such a strong female. It made a change to have a badass female character I liked her a lot too.
Can't wait to read book 3.

This is a good book. I like this book better then the first book. This is about Tucker Creed and Sylvie Bissenette. This is a heart breaking story that started when Tucker was 8 and Sylvie was 5. This is a book that goes from the present to the past. We see how Sylvie and Creed are now and we see how they got that way and why Sylvie is not pleased to see Creed. We see how these two find each other after 20 years of separation and the truth is so heart wrenching. The emotions KA brings out in this book is amazing she knows how to break your heart and mend it. It can be read as a standalone book but, I feel that you should read Knight first so you can see what type of guy Knight is and know why we does what he does.
Although Sylvie loves Creed, I felt she gave into him too soon. I wanted her to fight him a lot more then what she does and also I wanted Creed to resect what she does and not go along with it because they have history. Although she finds out the truth, I feel that what she went through was slightly pushed aside and what she went through was far from cosy. I was a little annoyed with Creed because although he was young, he still waited 20 years and he didn't even try to find her and see what became of her and I was shocked that Sylvie didn't get angry with him either.

I liked that there was a 'Now' and 'Then' chapters because we see how they became the way they are. How they met and how they fell in love in the first place.
There are different POV's between Creed and Sylvie which showed depth into their characters.
The Unfinished Heroes series in not my favourite series of KA but they are still worth a read.

This was a great read. Creed is a typical KA alpha male, but like Knight, with a dirty mouth and an appetite for a little kink.
Creed and Sylvie were childhood friends then lovers, but Creed took off with no warning or explanation and they haven't seen one another for 16 years.
They reconnected very early in this and I did wonder whether the story would run out of steam with that resolved, but there was plenty going on to hook me in and keep me interested.
There are frequent flashbacks to what led to Creed' s abandonment that start sweet but grow progressively more angsty.
I really enjoyed this, highly recommended.

Creed (Unfinished Hero #2) by Kristen Ashley was another listening pleasure for me. Creed and Sylvie story really was one of the stories about first love, soul mates and second chance love. That one love that consumes you and no matter what happens in your life, the good, the bad and the ugly you can't forget it.

I love Sylvie she has her battles, but she is still such a strong character considering all that she had gone through. And as for Creed just thinking about him has put a smile on my face. What he did for Sylvie, the girl who stole his heart, the girl who was his life it was such a selfless act.

I adored the intense passion between Creed and Sylvie and such a perfect epilogue, I had to listen to it twice.

Loving this series and I’m excited to listen to Raid next.

KA's latest in the "Unfinished Hero" series left me with mixed feelings. I loved Creed his character was totally brilliant, but then the authors leading men usually are. Sylvie took me a little longer to warm up to. But that's probably because my personal preference is for heroines who are not quite so kickass.

Creed and Sylvie have been apart for sixteen years, then when Knight ( hero form the first book Knight (The Unfinished Hero Series)) is having business troubles he hires Creed. That's how Sylvie and Creed are reunited. From that point on its all about how Creed and Sylvie resolve what had happened in their past.

What I did like about this story were the characters as usual they are fully developed and the reader is able to relate to them easily. The switch between the past and present was beautifully done and did not interfere with the flow of the story at all. The love scenes were really hot and passionate.
What I wasn't too keen on was the explanation of what happened in the past between Creed and Sylvie, it was huge, but I felt that it could have been gone into more. Instead it seemed to be glossed over. When Knight hires Creed to help deal with the threat to his business, I thought we were going to get real action, instead when that part of the plot ended it was anti climatic for me. Lastly this a series about anti-heroes, according to KA's website this means good men who do bad things, Knight yes 100% got that. Creed is a private investigator, I did not see what bad things he was doing, he was no worse than Hawk Delgado or even Tack from the Dream Man series.
This is a decent enough read, though its far from KA's best.
