I'm torn in my regard for G. Edward Griffin, and this book. On the one hand, it's a good read, and covers a very essential subject. On the other, now that, having read it, I see that he's taken all of Eustace Mullin's work from his Federal Reserve book, and not bothered to cite him, so I don't feel happy giving it an across the board thumbs up.

I think as with all of Griffin's work, the ease with which you can glide through the endless details is superb, and the un-emotive, down to earth, and unpretentious use of words and ideas is perfect.

Lending people money with debt attached to it is clearly evil and can only lead to misery. Obviously this was unlawful in Christendom, but the success of the retardation of the propaganda has rendered such evils conceivable and widely accepted centuries after their outlaw.

The fact is, that if everyone in the world read this book, and took on board the story, there would be a very swift cessation to all wars, unmanageable taxes and debts, and it would be hard to see how they could ever return. People unfortunately love the fascism too much and they love watching the idiot box and reading the news papers. Intelligence is sniggered at and idiots are glorified. Watching football is seen as a manly interest, rather than a childish or occasional hobby.

This is a good buy. You won't be disappointed as it's detailed but never boring.

I thought I knew a lot about the banking system and how it has a detrimental impact on 99% of people on this planet. Then I read this book and realised the situation is 10 times worse than I thought it was. I have to admit that I could only read 20 or 30 pages at a time. This is because I was so incensed at the information provided and how we're effectively being sold into slavery by the bankster and corporatist elites in collusion with their pals in Government that I simply had to step out of it otherwise I would have exploded.

If you really want to know how the world is run, how Governments can bail out bankers to pay for their gambling losses, how every private and central bank engages in legalised counterfeiting to create money out of nothing to lend at interest, how the process of creating money out of thin air causes massive inflation which devalues the money we earn and save, how when Governments borrow money from banks who then magic this money up it results in a hidden tax which plunders the wealth of the ordinary people and benefits only the financial, corporate and political elites, how this system of banking and governance is the cause of every war and economic depression and recession, how the central banks which control our economies and our currencies are nothing more than cartels of private bankers, how the controlled media ensure this tale is never told, is never mentioned or even hinted at lest the ordinary citizenry get wind of it en masse and revolt against it.

Once you have read this book and back it up by looking at the many documentary videos on the subject on You Tube the way you see the world again will change forever.

This is not an easy read by any stretch of the imagination, and I certainly wouldn't recommend you read it last thing at night before trying to sleep.

Why?

Because you'll be so angry, so emotionally charged, that sleep will be impossible.

It is meticulously researched, with vast numbers of references and links that even the most 'pro-banker' will be hard pushed to refute. Skipping backwards and forwards across time, it details with astonshing clarity the deceptions, manipulations and downright utter greed of these banking 'people'.

After reading this book, you'll want to re-read it, then you will be determined to pay off any and all your debts to free yourself from their downright evil clutches forever.

This book ought to be required reading for everyone -apart from 'banksters'.

I finished this book in three sittings, and when I'd finished I felt like I had a thin coating of slime covering me, and had to have a long hot shower to wash off all the dirt.

Having said all that, if you want your eyes well and truly opened and have a broad mind and are willing to see past 'The System's' lies, then this book is essential.

You'll be left with the question: "How? How do these 'people' get away with creating money from absolutely nothing, then charging interest on it?" It will make you very, very angry -hence the 'Not-Before-Bedtime' suggestion!

You might also want to research 'bitcoin' as the alternative to fiat currency.

It was disgusting.......No, not the book, the book was a breath of fresh air, i was on about the banking system, the federal reserve being a scam and others, so thats how they do it, is it, how can that be, Look around. I have bought the book to compliment the video of the same name by G.Edward Griffin, a fantastic writer who i have known about for some years now. I bought 2 of these books, one for me, the other for a friend, and i will tell anyone who reads these cooments.....buy the book, it will open your mind, and in my case, it has changed the way i have dealt with banks, i no longer have any debt of significance, i am in the last legs.
