She absolutely LOVED it.
She's tried knitting ( successfully) , puzzle solving ( not so much) , free drawing ( very frustrating), playing piano on her iPad ( brilliantly), but now she's in the later stages of recovery, this is the gift that keeps on giving.
Yes, these books aren't cheap, but the hundreds of pages of quality printed , highly detailed artwork have been a very good investment. I also bought 3 or 4 other books with a tenth of the pages, a thousandth of the quality of paper and images, yet costing around half of the price. They have now been given to the grandkids.
This book however ( and another one in the same series) is used nightly, for a couple of hours at a time.
I'd have to say 100% yes.
Creative, colourful, dazzlingly intricate? Yes, very much so on every point.
All in all, probably some of the best money spent on aiding my wife's recovery :)
