I've bought about 10 of these over the years (I end up wearing them out after 2 years by listening to music on my 3hr commutes, in work, to help me sleep, sounds tends to faade in one phone after 1.5yr at my mileage etc.).
These are hands-down the best earphones and I've tried may different brands - I used to exclusively buy Creative mp3 players before they phased out that side of the business (T_T). No need for device equalisers with these bad boys - trebles are crisp and clear, basses are full and punchy, mid-ranges are not forgotten and fill out the rest. I listen to a lot of styles of metal, metalectro, piano music, chiptune etc. and it all sounds great. I always have a spare pair so I'll never be without my tunes.
