i would highly recommend this camera to people who just want to point and record events. good quality and it is so simple to use. low light performance is amazing.
i recorded a concert with this and it was awesome, the sound it recorded did not break like many other cameras usually do. it records loud sound very smoothly and you can clearly hear the voice of the artist.
the only problem i'm having is the battery. i wish it would last longer than 2 hours. but i think that is why they made the battery removable, you might want to get an extra battery if you are going to bring it for a long holiday.

AS per manual - charging the battery is 7,5 hours in normal and 2,5 hours in rapid conditions, but there's a trick - if you attach it to laptop and turn your computer down by stand-by mode - the USB plugs still can charge your camera up.
However I should recommend this camera mainly for its price, size and convenient storage capabilities. A great pre-HD camera to wish for.
Reading about the product and reviewing the operating instructions in advance suggested this camera would be intuitive and easy to use - just what I wanted for capturing the odd video clip and downloading to PC or website. Charged the camera as instructed and hit record - all simple enough - but then the picture on the camera screen went all fuzzy, kept flaring and evetually died. So much for HD quality. I then tried to download the fuzzy clip and see if it would look better on the PC screen, again an apparently straightforward procedure. Connected to the PC (running Vista 32 bit) and got a message saying USB device not recognised and nothing more. Kept trying but the camera then decided to shut itself down and after that it wouldn't film again until I had taken the battery out and started the whole set up procedure.
Looking at the reviews on Amazon suggests that typically the camera does what it should and it may just be that I have a duff one but my son had major problems with the same camera (his 3rd generation version) when it came to hooking up and editing/downloading clips. Sadly I bought the product a few months ago and didn't try using it until recently so too late for the refund I would like. Will see what Creative have to say and if no joy can only hope that Amazon step up and do the right thing.

I would never buy one of these again. I thought Creative were great until I wasted my cash on this camera. Feel free to waste your own money on it.Published on 25 Sept. 2013 by Colin Green
The kids enjoy using it when they are out mucking about or on their bikes and skateboards. Didn't have any problems charging or downloading. Good product for the money.Published on 12 Jan. 2013 by David
