Lovely illustrations which will be satisfying to colour. The paper is not the highest quality which is the only reason for giving it a 4*. So far, it is more than good enough for pencils. I plan on trying watercolours on one of the designs at some point and we will see how it holds up then.
The pages are perforated and are single sided (no illustration on the back), allowing you to remove your designs from the book, either before you colour in order to either scan so you can print and colour again or to make colouring easier, or so you can remove your completed design and hang it somewhere. The back side of the pages has a quote related to the message on the front.
The book has some tips on colouring techniques, uses of colour and different mediums in the front which is a nice touch for those who have not done anything to do with art for some time.
