Thank you to Nikki for kindly asking me to review her debut novel.

Charley has accepted a job but she’s lying. From the beginning, it’s not made crystal clear what she’s lying about exactly. But be patient, because all is revealed in perfect timing.

The plot quickly heats up when the very attractive but arrogant Alex is introduced. The brakes slam on and the two collide. At first, it’s strictly business but who knows what’ll happen? Will they? Won’t they?

Sometimes with the plot, I had to go back a couple of sentences to re-read as they weren’t made 100% clear but other than that, I found that Nikki’s debut will make her a well established author. The narrator’s voice was clear, the chemistry was perfect and most of all, it was gripping.

When I read the short story I knew I had to get this book downloaded on my kindle. I pre ordered it and had to wait a few weeks. I read the story in two days as I could put it down. I love Nikki's style of writing, it made my feel I part of the story and nothing else mattered. Cannot wait to read more of Nikki's books.

A great start for Nikki's Full-length writing career! Charley is a nicely drawn heroine with lots (and lots) of flaws. Alex is the classical romantic hero - rich, good looking, and ready to fall in love BUT - with his own baggage to take care of.

Its a classic formula romance, so you know how its going to work out. Its not the destination, its the journey, and Nikki has made a delightful journey. Good guys win, bad guys get their comeuppance. What's not to like!!

I read this book during a long day of travelling and kept me riveted throughout. I love Alex and Charley and the backdrop of Barcelona. This is a new author to me and I'll certainly look out for more of her writing. She has some really clever turns of phrase. The emotion swept me along, and also the sizzle between hero and heroine.

Would definitely recommend.

'Crazy, Undercover, Love is jam-packed with complex emotions.'

Charley takes a job as a temporary PA and accompanies Alex Demetrio; billionaire and CEO of Demetrio International on a business trip to Barcelona. The perfect setting for little workplace dalliance perhaps but all is not what it seems.

Charley has an agenda of her own after a workplace scandal left her reputation, finances and life in tatters. Alex on first acquaintance is the stereotypical sexy, arrogant alpha male unhappy that Charley is a woman when he only employs male assistants. Charley's instant attraction to her temporary boss makes her want to know more despite the risk to her plan. The man behind the facade is complex, frustrated, secretive and vulnerable.

Cleverly interwoven flashbacks reveal why Charley took the job without slowing the story's pace. Close proximity and sizzling chemistry deliver the required sensual heat between the unlikely couple.

Written in the 1st person from Charley's point of view it's easy to connect with the misjudged heroine although her introspection is a little overpowering towards the end. Alex's motivations are harder to fathom and add to the plot's numerous twists and turns. I did guess his deepest secret well before he revealed it creating dramatic irony.

The structuring of the plot over the four-day trip made for easy reading. The ending was too drawn out for me but it was a good one.

I received a copy of this book from Harper Impulse via NetGalley

So imagine riding a rollercoaster in the pitch black, that is what reading Crazy, Undercover, Love feels like. Exhilarating, you never know what is going to come next, the characters have highs and lows and there so many moments where your left gripping your kindle with white knuckles thinking good God what in earth will happen next. Fabulous characters with a plot that is delicious, with twists, turns and more 'You didn't see that coming' moments than I can count, this book is simply sensational!
So characters, Leading lady Charley is a career woman, when her job is wrongly taken from her she ends up, undercover, trying to clear her name but one big roadblock is ahead and his name is Alex! Alex the greek god CEO of her former company. Gorgeous, complex, had that whole brooding while still being sexy thing going on. The chemistry is undeniable, They want each other for sure but my god do they make it hard, with lies, secrets misunderstandings the leading characters have got one hell of a fight to their happy ending!
Nikki Moore has created a fabulous romance novel thats is so satisfying and delicious that I skipped dinner, seriously! I loved the flow of the book the rollercoaster of events and the I fell in love with the characters! Most definitely a must read for all romance fans!

Thank you to the Gosling Girls for letting me take part in this blog tour. Harper Impulse hasn’t been around long and I haven’t read as many of their books as I would like but the ones I have I have really LOVED. I’ve been in need of a book like this for a little while so as soon as I read the synopsis I jumped at the chance to review it.

The main character in this book is Charley. She is a very stubborn but also very hard working girl. She left the little village she grew up in, against her parent’s wishes, and worked hard to get a job she loved. She has a flat she loves with her best friend Jess and life was well life was perfect. Then enters Tony. He is a slimy, evil, little s**t and he ruins everything.

After months of trying to get her life back on track Charley is desperate to say the least. Then her friend Amy has a crazy idea that might be Charley’s last chance. So then Charley is off to meet Mr CEO Alex Demetrio. What Charley doesn’t factor into her equiation is that Mr CEO is hot. Not your average yeah he’s pretty good looking no, no, he is sexy as hell/drop dead gorgeous/the only man she has ever really really wanted and the one man she can’t have. I loved Alex, I could see why Charley was in such a sticky situation. Apart from being hot he’s too worried about what everyone thinks of him and just a tiny bit of a workaholic.

I started this book thinking oh I know how this book is going to go down but around every corner Nikki threw a curve ball. Then I would think yeah I know it will end like this and then BAM! another curve ball. It was great. I was constantly kept guessing. I urge you to click that little link up there and buy this book it will be the best 99p you have spent in a long time.
