As a crash fan since the very beginning, I can easily say with full confidence that this was worth the wait!! The game is challenging but fair, with a new and far less frustrating 'Modern mode' so you can enjoy the game without game overs. If you're really struggling on a stage it will give you extra checkpoints and Aku Aku will help you! Plenty of references and things to spot from games of the past. This game has a had a LOT of love put into it from Toys For Bob.
The game has plenty of replay value, with many reasons to revisit stages. Tawna, Dingodile and Cortex are playable and they add excellent variety to the stages. Be warned, if you're a completionist you'll have trouble finding all the crates in a stage, but we wouldn't want it to be too easy now would we? 😉
The characters are as lovable and funny as ever, with a stellar voice cast and beautiful stylised new looks.
