Product Description

It's everyone's favorite marsupial in his biggest adventure yet! This time Neo--Cortex has had enough. Having been defeated one too many times, Cortex has developed a Super Secret weapon to finally rid himself of his arch--nemesis, Crash Bandicoot. Cortex has been busy building Crunch, a genetically engineered super--creature designed for one thing only, to defeat Crash Bandicoot once and for all!

There is just one thing missing... a power source for the new diabolical creation. Uka Uka, Cortex's master, calls upon the powers of the slumbering "Elementals." These four ancient masks harness the powers of earth, fire, water and air. If Cortex's super weapon wears these masks, he will then hold the power of the elements! However, to power this weapon, Cortex has set up bases around the planet, sucking the earth dry of its valuable elemental resources.

It's up to Crash Bandicoot and his sister Coco to defeat Cortex and his monstrous creation before they take over the world!

Crash 4 is a very good game for all ages. It has quite good graphics, fast gameplay, funny storyline and ranges of different types of leves such as the hamster ball, bosses and normal levels. It loses a star in it's easiness but then get's it back in it's power to get people to play on the same level over and over again so i give it 5 stars as would of the Xbox People after all they have made it a classic.

Loved this game a few years ago, and although teh game looks a bit dated, I STILL can't do the bits I couldn't do before, and am busy rediscovering the sheer fun of whiling an hour away trying to build up lives and trying to complete the WHOLE levels to get all teh crystals!

I've owned every Crash Bandicoot game ever, and am a big fan. This game is almost exactly like the old Crash Bandicoot platformers, apart from a few noticable differences. The graphics are better and run very smoothly, without a single hitch or framerate problem. The only thing is though, is that if you've played Xbox games with great graphics, Halo, for instance, then you will be disgusted by this games' graphics. Another thing-Crash does not play as well as he used to. Crash used to run- now he seems to run, but very slowly. He runs as if he has been running for 400 miles beforehand. Also, his movements and actions are very slow and he appears to glide when he jumps. Also, if you are used to the difficulty level of every other Crash Bandicoot game ever made (which is stupidly easy) then you will be surprised by the Wrath of Cortex. It is very difficult, and offers a great challenge, especially the boss levels. Other than these, The wrath of cortex is a very enjoyable platformer, with some great action moments and puzzles to figure out. The only problem is, if you enjoyed the previous Crash Bandicoot games, you may be disappointed by his laest outing. I reccommend this only if you want a challenge or if you've never played a Crash Bandicoot game before.

This looks fantastic, it sounds good especially when you hook it up to a dolby digital receiver(altho you have to turn the rear speakers up to get the full benefit). Its a fun light hearted platformer, it can be tedious at times but on the whole worth getting now its going cheap! Most would probably complete it in a weekend, altho if you were to collect everything, there would be a lot more gameplay.

I bought this game at full price and still consider it a good buy. Each sub level is a game it's own right and even they contain bonus levels. Each sub level has a different theme and mimics former classic platform games. This means you get many types of game for your money.
A bargain now it's in the classic range.

This game is what it says on the box. An X-box Classic.

I bought this game many, many years ago and have devoted hours at a time to this wonderful game. The levels are fun and the graphics are class, not to mention the catchy theme tunes.

You also get the chance to play as Coco, Crash's little sister in a few levels which I loved as it was a nice change to playing the tough Crash and being a girl myself, I eagerly rose at the chance to play her.

The game is quite tough but very rewarding. All in all a great game that must not be missed!
