I am a size 10/12, 5ft 8" and I went for the size 12 L (although the label says R!) and they fit really nicely except What is it with Craghoppers waists? I'm heavy on my legs and have a small waist and most trousers - if OK on the legs, are way to big around the waist - but with these trousers, there is more than enough room for the legs but the waist is tiny - I don't bother doing up the top button. I'll probably move the button along an inch so that I can.
The waist band is elasticated but way too tight - hence why I've marked them down a star. if you have thin legs and are wider around the waist, I wouldn't bother!
They are light and have a warm lining. They look more elegant on my daughter than they do in the product shot.
The fit is absolutely terrible. I have 35" hips and 25" waist. I ordered a size 8. They are too long, which is fine because I can fold them up, but I cannot zip these up and move as well. The waist is too wide and the hips are too narrow; if I have to do any crouching, it is impossible to do without cinching my waist or completely unzipping the front. I wear them for yachting, so moving around, sitting down and bending down is necessary.
If it weren't for the awful fit, these would be great trousers.
