very good book, lost of detail, great for anyone interested in working with clay. I have not seen such comprehensive book before taht includes well explained techniques, for throwing, hand-building, slip, decoration. You name it, it's in there.

A good general overview but in the description of clay types and artists, it is very much USA-orientated. There are better and more UK relevant workshop books to get if you are a UK based ceramicist, with better focus of locally available materials and UK specific know how.
