It is simply wrong to advertise this as the original; Indeed I would hate to think that this may be an introduction to Daphne du Maurier for a new generation.
Shame on you Amazon Kindle. You are now, sadly, the curators of our literary heritage. Do not present this guff as literature. It is only effective as a spoiler for the real novel. (It also contravenes the 'Sale of Goods Act')
