There is a solution available for those who are prepared to a do a bit of work for themselves.
The supplied bit is removable - loosen the two screws and take it out. Replace it in the iron pointed end first, tighten the screws and then grind the flat end of the bit into a 45 degree bevel - see photo. If you want to file it rather than grind it, it is safer to put the bit in a vise while you file it.
Either way, finish off the bit with a fine file to remove burrs and provide a flat surface.
Fix the bit into the iron, bevel side outside, turn it on and let it heat fully. Apply solder to the bit to tin it - Ersin Savbit alloy will prolong the life of the bit. See photo. Leave the solder to amalgate on the bit for about five minutes, then clean the bit on the moistened sponge - final photo.

I would highly recommend this product for light use. I'm not sure how long this will last, but it seems very robust and well built. If you're looking for something cheap and reliable for a small project this is perfect!
The iron itself has a rubber grip/insulation area and is comfortable to work with. It has around a 1M cable, which is long enough for most work. It heats up quickly and can work with leaded or unleaded solder. It might smoke quite a bit on the first startup though, but leaving it alone for a few minutes will stop it. It comes with a conical tip, with a fairly large diameter, which
The stand is fairly standard, and comes with a sponge which is good. It cleans the tip acceptably when damp. Extra sponges might be a good investment if you plan on using this set more than occasionally. It tends to slip and slide around on a table, but a more grippy substance or putting blue-tac underneath solves the problem.
The solder sucker is easy enough to use, although ineffective. I recommend getting some fine solder wick instead for desoldering.
The solder itself is fairly thin flux-cored unleaded solder, which is good. There isn't very much of it though, so you will need to get more after the first few uses.
It takes about 5 minuets to really get to temperature, one up to temp, it works fine. However, if you are planning to use for an extended period of time 30 mins + the handle gets hot. This is the same with alot of the cheaper irons, just something to be aware of.
The set comes with a small amount of solder, but if your starting out get yourself some more.
I have managed to misplace the solder sucker, i have a few and don't know which one it is. All my solder suckers work so all i can say is it works.
Overall
A good starter kit, if you plan to do lots of soldering look at a better iron.
