One drawback of the PSU is the 24pin motherboard connector - it's flexible but not enough for a tight bend in very small cases such as the node 202.
The only actual issue I have with this package, is that it comes with a short 24-pin cable, which didn't reach to my motherboard when everything was attached correctly. So if your case is anything larger than a medium sized Mini ITX case (like mine), save yourself the time and get an extension!
A word of warning if you're building in many cases such as the silverstone sg13 you will need an ATX - SFX adapter plate. They're pretty cheap but sadly it is not included with the PSU. I hope in the future that corsair consider including one as standard.
At this power draw, the unit I have is ramping up its fan a lot, resulting in a very noisy unit.
Another point of interest I discovered when analysing power draw was that the unit was still drawing about 24 watts when the computer was turned off. Not sure whether this is due to the motherboard or the PSU, but it was surprising.
A huge downside was the cables that came with it - they're short which is good but they're extremely stiff and require an awful lot of force to connect - I've cut myself a few times trying to put them in and I've had to leave a few of them not fully pushed in out of fear of breaking my motherboard.
It's powering an old 6600t which in itself doesn't require a lot of juice. The fan only turns on on power on and then the PSU stays silent.
Great if you want to have a silent pc for office work. For gaming you might have to opt for the next size up.
I used PCPartpicker to judge the wattage of the PSU I needed, I bought this with headroom in mind, it's fully modular, brilliant, I have three or four cables I didn't use I therefore they are not hanging unused in my case.
This is a small PSU, very quite and the fan only kicks in if it gets warm, I bought this to fit in my Cooler Master Masterbox NR200P, fits perfectly with the two fans that came with the case fitted above the PSU, no issues with space.
Modular is definitely the way to go, I plan to replace the out of the box power cables that came with the PSU with customer color cables.
