Great Looking, Great Overclocking Memory
Like the legendary Dominator, enthusiast-grade Vengeance DRAM is designed for stability, stringently factory-tested. And, we know that great looks are as important as great performance. This is why Vengeance modules come in a variety of colours to match your components and let you build your system just the way you want it.
Superior Overclockability Through Careful Screening
Overclocking your components can be a fun and rewarding way of pushing your gaming PC to its performance limits. Vengeance can help make this happen. Before each module is assembled, the DRAM chips are individually screened not only to ensure reliable meeting performance specifications, but to allow generous headroom for stable overclocking.
Optimised for Compatibility with the Latest CPUs and Motherboards.
Vengeance memory is designed specifically for the latest CPUs. Vengeance modules are available in 1.65, 1.5 V, and 1.35 V configurations for maximum compatibility with all Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors, as well as the 2nd generation Intel Core processor family. With dual channel, triple channel, and quad channel kits, there's a Vengeance configuration that's perfect for your motherboard.
XMP Memory Profile for Simple, Safe Overclocking
Vengeance memory supports the Intel XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) standard, and each module is individually factory-programmed with an XMP profile indicating supported timing, frequency and voltages. Just enable XMP on your compatible motherboard and you'll automatically get optimised memory overclocking without having to deal with multiple BIOS settings. Of course, if you're an experienced overclocker or an aspiring one you can adjust the settings to push for even higher performance.

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

For many people, DDR3 RAM is as good as they can go because of their motherboard, so all of the advancements in DDR4 memory are more or less irrelevant.
Perhaps the most striking thing about these memory modules is the design. You can see from our photographs that these modules look beastly next to some standard, cheap memory. That design isn’t just for looks, however. Those high surface-area metal fins help dissipate any heat that builds up whilst you’re pushing the memory to its limit.
When it comes to overclocking, these RAM modules really shine. Around the internet, some people claim in their reviews that they’ve been able to reach speeds of 2133MHz, but in my tests I only managed to overclock to 1866MHz, but that could be for any number of reasons not caused by the RAM itself. Regardless, that is still a pretty substantial overclock, especially when considering the price point of these RAM modules.
The CPU I’m running in this test (i7-2700k) is renowned for its overclock potential, and coupled with these RAM modules really makes for a machine to be loved by overclockers.
I’ve been running at this speed for nearly 9 months now, and so far have had no issues with any of the modules, with Memtest being perfectly happy with the configuration.
Whilst these modules may be small, they certainly are mighty. Corsair do of course produce higher capacity modules, but these are very competitively priced and are great for the enthusiast on a budget. Of course, maxing most modern motherboards out with these would result in an impressive 16GB of RAM, which is not to be underestimated. That’s a lot of power, whether for gaming, video editing or running intensive simulations.
RAM is a key component within your system, and Corsair manage to deliver that quality feel with these modules. We strongly reccomend using a known and respected brand such as Corsair to provide your RAM, as a faulty module from a white-label brand could leave your whole system in a mess with nowhere to turn.
All in all, this is a great buy with no obvious drawbacks. The lifetime warranty and ability to be comfortably overclocked puts these RAM modules ahead of the competition. After conducting this review of the Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600 modules, we thorough recommend them.
I didn't need a full 16Gb of DDR3 memory really, as I already had 12Gb 1333Mhz already fitted, but, as I didn't want to 'mix and match' I bought the maximum my motherboard would support, this was 16Gb at 1600Mhz, that's 4 x 4Gb modules..... 2 packets of 2 units!
Due to Xmas rush no doubt, the memory did take a full week to arrive, but, it was worth the wait.
You can tell the second you open the packet, it's quality, full stop, beautiful. Very easy to fit, remember, these are matched pairs, so, install each pair (if your bought more than one pair) into same coloured slots, as, it's dual timing, i.e., DDR(x) dual data rate!
Another pointer that might be useful, when I installed mine, it was still running (at the old settings) of 1333Mhz after fitting and several re-boots, .... going into BIOS, it was easy to alter the timing to 1600Mhz I discovered, I presumed it would auto sense the new faster RAM, not the case, although, your motherboard might be different, mine is Asus M4A88TD-V EVO USB3.
There are many many cheaper types of DDR3 memory modules out there now, many with strange obsecure makers names, probably rebranded, but, if you want reliability, and quality, it's better to pay, just that little bit more and get something you know will perform and last ...........
However it is worth noting than upon delivery the RAM works at the stock 1330MHz and needs to be overclocked to the recommended 1600 setting, something that is quite misleading in the title. However I'm keeping this at 5/5 due to the quality of the RAM, it's high performance standard, ease of installation and the ease of overclocking it. Would highly recommend to anyone building a high spec PC.
Only problem is I'm having to pay £10 to send the stick for replacement which is extra money for an issue that wasn't my fault so it's almost like I'm paying £10 for the same product listed here.
That said, mistakes do happen and it is uncommon so you can buy with confidence, and their customer service were helpful and dealt with this issue quickly. I would have given this product a 5 if everything was working because it is a brilliant card, but I just got unlucky. I would still recommend this product because most companies don't offer life time warranty on RAM and the risk of being sent a faulty stick from other companies still exists.
