From the manufacturer
Designed for high-performance overclocking on Intel X99 Series motherboards
Heat sink, made of pure aluminum, allows for faster heat dissipation; Eight-layer printed plate manages heat and provides superior ability to increase overclocking. Each integrated circuit is individually selected for maximum performance potential.
DDR4
The DDR4 format is optimized for Intel X99 Series motherboards and delivers higher frequencies, higher bandwidth and lower power consumption than DDR3 modules. Vengeance LPX DDR4 modules compatibility has been verified for the entire X99 Series motherboards, ensuring fast and reliable performance. XMP 2.0 compatibility for seamless automatic overclocking And they are available in a variety of colours to match your motherboard, components, or simply your personal style.

Fast and reliable performance.Part of the extensive testing process includes performance and compatibility verification of virtually all X99 Series motherboards on the market, and some that are not. |
Designed for high-performance overclockingVengeance LPX modules are manufactured with eight layer printed boards and rigorously selected memory integrated circuits. Effective heat sink provides effective cooling to enhance overclocking potential. |
Aluminum Heat SinkOverclocking is limited by operating temperature. The unique design of the Vengeance LPX heat sink optimally removes heat from the integrated circuits and leads you to the cooling trajectory of your system, so you can ask for even more. |

XMP 2.0 compatibility for trouble-free automatic overclockingManually forcing your DRAM frequency can be a fun experiment, but there are occasions where maximum performance and no discomfort is required. |
Low profile design makes it perfect for smaller spacesThe small format makes it the perfect choice for smaller chassis, or for any system whose internal space is small. |
Available in different colours to match the base plateThe look of the best high performance systems is matched to the excellence of their performance. The Vengeance LPX is available in different colours to match your motherboard, your other components, your chassis or just your favourite colour. |

They have an excellent performance. You will see that when your computer needs to load a big amount of data during game play.
This memory kit would be your best, and latest choose (with Asus p8z77-v Premium motherboard) if you dont want to overclock your processor and memory, but you still want to have a faster rig with bigger ram. Im saying this because to make use higher clocked ram, you will need to increase voltage for ram controller, what will decrease your computer life time.
To make this ram work in bios setting you may need to change your memory profile from Auto to X.M.P. Save and Exit
If you restart your computer and you experience that your system is not booting, or get frozen, press reset, turn of computer, and press CMOS button on motherboard. This will clear your CMOS.
After that go to bios and change again the memory profile from auto to X.M.P. Save and Exit
Now after computer restart when you go to bios you should see your 32 Gb ram with 1866 Mhz clock.
The only cons I found:
1. To make fit this ram under my processor cooler I have to manually remove the heat spreaders. With this I void the warranty and I risked to damage the chipset on the ram.
2. To start the computer often takes an extra 3 second longer.
1. Only 2x4GB, not 2x8GB as advertised
2. System was running DRAM at 2133mHz. Installed these and speed dropped to 1333 mHz. Tried to increase speed in BIOS which caused a complete system failure (BSOD). Full recovery after they were removed. Have read that user needs to modify latency timings but the average user wouldn't know didly squat about that. I didn't even try. I like my machine as is. It runs very well as I built it and so I thought it wisest to return these crap bits of harware to Amazon. Suggest you avoid.
This RAM scores 7.7, although I am on Windows 7, the Windows 8 version may score higher as the limit is 9.9 in the Windows Experience index or WEI for short.
Very minor cosmetic issues really but considering I paid around £60 for them I'd expect those kinds of things not to happen. Other than that they are very good modules once they are properly set up in the BIOS.
They were lowest CL available so had to get them :D
