This memory works perfectly with the ASUS Crosshair iv formula with a Phenom 2 X4 B50 & 2 x Asus HD6850 in Crossfire. Tested it extensively with my rig both with benchmarking apps and 3D games before changing to 16GB of Corsair Vengeance.
I am now using it in a ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO motherboard and it seems to work perfectly.

Recommend for old MB like mine - MSI Diamond P45. It has 4 x DDR3 memory slots (2GB each)- working good on 1600MHz. 8GB is a good RAM for Windows7 Ultimate 64bit. The PC stay very quick, because I disable page (swap) file on HDD, and still have no problems.

A perfect acompanyment to a Thermalright APX-100 and 140mm fan in a ATX size HTPC case. They give the same output as their big brother.

HASH(0x9222f648) out of 5 stars Great RAM! Works PERFECTLY with AMD Processors! 20 Jan. 2011

I just bought this because I recently bought 6GB of DDR3, one of the DIMM's didn't work so I just said "What the heck, I'll go 8..." So here I am, I bought this and saw that it says "for i5" but for the same exact RAM people said it works fine with AMD's. So I tried it and they were right! I'm running Windows 7 x64 and it rated this a 7.5! 7.9 is the highest too. **WORKS PERFECTLY FINE WITH AMD PROCESSORS!**

I HEAVILY stressed the RAM with Ramtest86+ and it worked perfect. My motherboard, Windows, nor did anything else have an issue with the RAM at all. I HIGHLY recommend this being as such a reasonable price, being 1600Mhz and for Corsair being well known for quality RAM! 100% worth it. Well done Corsair, Well done.

-1600Mhz (even though most processors don't use 1600 yet)
-Pretty nice look to it.
-Anti-Static and Cooling Plate(s)
-Very stable at 1600.

-Corsair usually cost a bit more than some of the other brands.
-Could look a little better (but I don't care personally).

This is a great selection for your memory and it has worked well for me for over 1 ½ years. I installed this memory into an AMD 1090T CPU computer and I purchased it because I wanted a match set of four modules. I am using it in a Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 motherboard and I have not had one issue.

The modules are running at 1616MHz with the timing settings at 8,8,8,24 and running at 1.65 VDC. The Windows memory hardware ratings are 7.6 out of 7.9 on Windows 7 64 bit operating system. My system has booted up every time without failure. I also have stress tested the memory with memtest86 and did not have any failures.

These memory sticks come with a lifetime warranty backed by Corsair. I like this memory and have actually purchased several sets for computers I have built for other people. I recommend them as being a good choice for your next system or upgrade!

This set of RAM has been very solid for me, so far. After countless, random BSODs, I decided to replace my system's memory to try and fix it once and for all. I put this set in my old Asus P5E3 Premium/WiFi-AP @n motherboard and it fired right up. The timings were recognized immediately and one click had the RAM running at its rated speed. No BSODs so far and my system feels a tad snappier. Awesome! I highly recommend this set of RAM.

My now "ancient" self-built Core 2 Quad 3.0 GHz Q9650 (Q6600 prior) / ASUS P5E3 Deluxe / OCZ 4GB rig had been running great all these years, and even blazingly fast with the recent addition of an SSD, but frequently had resource issues in Win7 64bit due to remote desktop session, Lightroom, and dozens of Chrome tabs running at the same time.

I had already unsuccessfully tried 2 other 8GB DDR3 memory sets (wouldn't POST) and was about to give up, but these enabled my PC to POST (Power On Self Test) on first try, even on the wrong voltage setting (forgot to change from 1.90V for my old 4x1GB OCZ). These also ran 1600 MHz without any voltage/bus tweaks (the OCZ were also PC3 12800 but wouldn't go stable above 1333 Mhz). I noticed the XMP setting showed the voltage profile of 1.65V, so I just set it to auto, and Prime95 ran for a day with 0 issues.

Now my 7 year old rig runs much faster than even my dual-processor Xeon E5620 2.4 GHz / 6 GB workstation. SSD & RAM upgrades have been super-bargain performance boosters (gone are the days of building totally new rigs every 2 years).

I was having trouble with an Asus mo board I purchased several years ago. Every time the computer restarted is would go into a continuous loading mode cycling on and off. I would get around it by pressing a button on the mo board that over road the memory setup and it would eventually start-up properly. I finally got tired of messing with it and purchased these memory sticks that Asus actually recommended as compatible with the board.... wow, smart move huh? And what do you know, the first start-up after memory stick installation was a massive success. Now I can go in and setup overclock speeds on the board and it won't hang up, just keeps right on going. Amazing what you can accomplish when following manufacturer's recommendations.
