I bought this keyboard about 2 weeks ago now and i have given myself some time to get used to it, as it is my first mechanical keyboard. It does take a little bit of time to get used the layout of any new keyboard you buy, the fact that it is a mechanical keyboard didn't really affect my learning curve i don't think.
I have amazon prime, so this keyboard came next day which was fantastic. I bought the brown keys as i use it for a mix of gaming and work. I also have a family in the house and i use the keyboard quite late at night, so the noise was an important factor for me.
The keyboard itself comes very well packaged and it would be hard for it to get damaged in transit. The build quality of the keyboard itself is great, its got a hard metal base and is quite heavy, it has rubber feet so it doesn't move around the desk at all. The cables are very thick and definitely long enough (for me anyway). A wrist rest comes with the keyboard and it is completely up to you if you use it or not, some people prefer this and others dont. It clips easily onto the keyboard so no problems there.
The noise of the keys is still definitely noticeable and if you do live in a small house or a tightly packed office and think you will disturb others then maybe a mechanical keyboard isn't the right choice for you. In comparison to other keyboards my friends have, this isn't louder but if anything a little quieter. However, the choice of what key you get hugely affects this, i am writing on behalf of the Cherry MX Brown.
For me, the keyboard was plug and play, i didnt need to install anything. However, in rare cases i have read that sometimes the computer doesnt understand what you have plugged in, luckily they have thought about this, and there is a BIOS switch on the back which will make the keyboard and the computer recognise each other which is handy.
All in all, this is definitely a great keyboard. But with the price you are paying for it you hope it should be. It is definitely up there with one of the best mechanical keyboards you can buy. If you have the money to spend on it then i do recommend you spend a little extra to get the extra value.
The lighting however, does seem to be a little dimmed on the number keys but this isn't a huge issue for me, if any at all. The lighting is also completely customisable, by this i mean - the brightness, what keys are lit and you can even enter what keys you want to be lit and what keys you want to be dark and it will remember this in the future. There is also a handy button that locks the windows key, and gamers will now how useful this can be.

Nice keyboard coming from logitech G19, I bought the Cherry MX Blue and this version only could be got with prime in just red and now do wish I found the full RGB version as corsair CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) does not seem to work with the single color (Colour) version.This is my first mechanical keyboard and wanted something to help my productivity when typing and programing but at the same time I do play some games too and most reviews pointed to the cherry MX blues and they seem to work well (Just need to learn not to bottom these out) they are loud keys when pressed and I feel a little more cramped when typing and feel the keys are too close but this may be just from like last three years old huge keyboard.So nice keyboard just wish I could get the software working with the non RGB or if there was prime version of blue keys in RBG but does not matter too much I don't look at the keys and more of a party trick :P
