This is the second book in the Lost Kings MC series and the follow on in Rock and Hope’s story in Slow Burn.

Although we left Slow Burn with a HFN ending the pairing still have a long way to go and this book covers the struggles they have to push through in order to reach their happy ever after. Both come from different backgrounds and finding that middle ground to firmly establish foundations is proving a difficult balance for them both.

Hope has now accepted that Rock is in her life but she still has not fully let go of her husband. She still lives in the same house and she still has his things hung in the closet. So until she lets go of her past how can she move on with her future with Rock?

Rock is hesitant to let Hope into his life fully, afraid he will frighten her away once she knows the truth of his club. However Rock will soon find out how strong Hope really is and how good she can be not only for him but for his brothers too. That is if Wrath will keep his doubts and his cynicisms to himself, especially the ‘Cinderella’ comments!

I love this series and how it shows the struggles true love must go through in order to become strong and this is exactly what this book is about. Sometimes I just wanted to strangle Hope though and push her to let go of her past, however that would prove a short told story so the angst we go through is a required addition to the story.

The chemistry between the two continues to develop but now the trust issues come into the fore which for both of them proves difficult to the extreme at times. Wrath is his usual cocky self but I just know he is hiding some serious hurt for him to behave this way. I liked how both he and Trinity were in their own way showing Hope the MC world.

My adoration for a new MC and a seriously GORGEOUS alpha man is confirmed. I devoured Slow Burn which was the first instalment of Hope and Rock's story. That ended well and this picks up a few weeks later. This book is about them adjusting to each other's world and finding their way together. They are from totally different backgrounds so be prepared for some fireworks but ultimately, these two are soulmates in my opinion. I am itching for the next book (coming in February) . No cliffhanger.....just the promise of more Rock and Hope. And Wrath, Z, Murphy, Axel, Trinity and more. Can't wait.

Loved this mc book. If you are expecting a hard, gritty mc story this book is not for you. This is a love story and i really loved this book. Autumn Jones Lake really takes her time to tell the story which is great as i hate a rushed storyline.

Quality MC read

Corrupting Cinderella is the continuation of Rock and Hope's story.

Hope is still very much a sweet woman, a lawyer and in Love with Rock.

Rock is still very much the Alpha domineering man all loved up.

The collision in morals from Rock's world to Hope's continue to clash and Hope's eyes start to open up more as Rock reveals bit by bit what his world in an MC is like.

Such a long book but quality with a few dramas and in detail, well written and in dual pov's

Hope and Rock are great characters and as their romance and love grows deeper so does Hope's understanding into Rocks world.

With brilliant main and extended characters this is a brilliant series capturing a beautiful and hot romance proving opposites really do attract.

No excessive grit, unnecessary violence, unauthorised sex or heavy drama just MC goodness at its best.

Book three next, looking forward to more and the final installment .

Reading as part as a box set.

In this, the second book in this series Hope struggles with Rocks world, it's all new to her not only doesn't she know where she stands she doesn't even know the rules of the game but Rock is behind her every step of the way, protecting and helping when he can, even when she doesn't realise or want it, but Rock's not always going to be there and Hope is going to have to find her place in the club if there's any chance at all for the two of them.
Not only does Hope have to find her way in Rocks life amongst the club girls and bikers but she's not used to having a partner who keeps secrets from her, club business is club business and this is difficult for her, she's independent and headstrong but she has a big heart, the question is will this heart ease her way into his 'family' or will it break under the misunderstandings.
Could Rock be the perfect male? he's hot, of course but he's also honest, loyal and faithful and he loves and isn't afraid to show how much he cares and this is so much more refreshing than I expected. The job of introducing Hope into his life is not an easy one and he takes it one step at a time, never lying to her and it can't be easy for him especially when the past keeps jumping up.
My only complaint is that Hope started to annoy me a bit towards the end of the book, I got a little fed up of her running away every time something came up that she didn't like, she's a lawyer and should therefore understand that communication helps, I know it's difficult since at times she feels out of her depth but it's the main reason for the 4 and not 5 star rating.
This is a great book, a beautiful romance, a continuation of their story and like the previous book there's no 'end' as such but also no cliffhanger it just leaves it open for the next book leaving us to decide if we want to continue with them on their journey together or leave them to it.
