Sapphire constantly blows me away with her writing. In Corrupted not only does she gets your blood pumping with the sinister sexy and delicious Viktor, but she makes your panties literally fall off whenever him and Elaina are together. If your fan of this wonderful series (stalker really) then you know that Elaina is the twin sister of Emily who is married to Viktor's brother Tate. She grew in unfortunate circumstances in the foster care system and never really allowed any one to touch her or care about her. Viktor is the dirty side of the Mafiya he deals with the messes that no one wants. He has no problem getting his hands dirty figuratively and literally. One look at Elaina and he knew that he had to have her, he wanted her to be his Princess and to protect her at all cost. From the first page until the last you're wrapped up in a tale that pulls you in,holds you hostage and seduces you with just one look from Viktor to Elaina. You also get a look at other characters from the series and meet new characters that you will be dying to know more about. Thank you Sapphire for giving us a slice of heaven in this series and I can't wait to see what's up your sleeve next.

Viktor is Tate's big brother and Elaina is Emily's twin sister, they met in less than perfect circumstances, for Viktor he knew that she was his though Elaina fought him from the start, this is a grittier book and you get to meet new people as well as catching up with characters you have met before. Go get it you will not be sorry.

I will admit that I hadn't read any of these books so I quickly downloaded the first Secrets which is about Luka (Tate) and Emily I will leave a review about that one shortly, but this is where we first meet Viktor and Elaina. Viktor is Luka's older brother and Elaina is Emily's twin sister.

This book focuses on and the darker side of the mafia to what we see in Secrets both Viktor and Luka have been groomed to takeover from their Father and Uncle. This may be book 4 in the series, but it can be read after book 1, Secrets, however I do recommend that you read them in order Secrets, Exposed, Relinquish and then Corrupted. Exposed and Relinquish are more about the Oath Keepers MC but they do crossover between the four books.

Elaina grew up in foster care and this has had an effect on her, she doesn't trust easily but she remains strong, independent which to Viktor is a curse as he finds himself being drawn to Elaina and wants to love and protect her but Elaina wants to stand on her own feet not wishing for handouts. Viktor is a take charge dominant man and wants things done his way, he's head of the Bratva and his dealings are far more grittier, he comes in takes out the rubbish and cleans up.

The chemistry between Viktor and Elaina is off the charts once she realises that she wants Viktor in more than friends but things are never that straight forward they encounter their fare share of drama with lots of explosions not just in the bedroom.

If you like something a little more intense go get your copy you wont be disappointed. I'm already looking forward to the next book.

**Arc given for honest review**

Corrupted is book 4 in Sapphire Knight's Russkaya Mafiya/Oath Keepers Series but it can be read after book 1 Secrets.
Personally I would read all 4 in order but as long as you read Secrets first before reading this it's fine.

We first meet Viktor in Secrets, he's Tate's brother and is now running the Bratva for his uncle.

Elaina is also first met in Secrets, she is actually Emily's sister who ironically almost kills her in a car crash. She suddenly discovers she has family and this is wonderful to her.

In corrupted Viktor has been taking care of Elaina and keeping an eye on her and well has fallen for her in a big way. But there's several problems. One, Elaina at the moment does not feel the same way about him as he does her.
Two, she has no idea about his family and what they do. Or what he does.....

Another problem comes in the shape of Viktor's admirer/stalker Kendall who believes he should be with her and will go to crazy lengths to ensure of it!

Although Viktor is the ideal Bratva leader, strong, detached, willing to do whatever he needs to do.
He is also soft, caring, loving and protective especially of his Princess Elaina.

He's two men in one and what a hot mix that is! Elaina seems to think so eventually!

Every book in this series just gets better and better and I cannot wait to see who's story we get to read next.

This book is one wild rollercoaster from start to finish and if you are a stranger to Sapphire's books you will not be disappointed!
If you are not then of course you know you will love it, what are you doing reading the reviews then??

Sapphire Knight is one of my one click authors, read this book and find out why!!

As soon as I finished Relinquish, I jumped straight into Corrupted. I just can't get enough of this Russkaya Mafiya series! It was well written, and I finished books two, three, and four all in one sitting. I need more Mafiya ASAP!

Like book one, book four focuses on the mafiya men, particularly Viktor. He seemed a little less refined and lot more violent than his brother, but perhaps that is because of his job with the mafiya. Elaina was well developed but not as strong a character as other females in the series in my opinion. The glimpses of Nikolai and Sabrina have me wanting their story NOW!

This was the fourth book I've read in this series, as well as the fourth book I've read by Sapphire Knight, I am ADDICTED! (I really hope she is busy writing more Niko's story right now!)

I do recommend that you read books one through three before you read Corrupted. It will give you a better understanding of the characters and events leading up to book three. Plus, you don't want to miss the hot alpha males.

I reviewed this book on behalf of A Book Lover's Emporium book blog.
