Reading this book is a chore, the way the author explains any techniques is not very engaging at all. I found myself jumping to pages of interest but there aren't many because he's too busy talking about his personal experiences. The author gives you a snippet of information & leaves you wanting more (show me the money!!). This leaves you feeling you've just been taken for a ride. There are no diagrams of lighting at all in this book - No tips on setting up to create a certain look - It's just a book showing off the authors work with just enough information to please the easily pleased. Alot of tips are on how to hide/pose ugly, unsightly areas or larger women but no real technical explanation on how to light. This one has to go back to Amazon i'm afraid.
It's a book that covers the basics and gives you the techniques, hints and tips from the author. If you're new to this the it's essential reading, if you have some experience then it's useful and if your experienced it gives a quick refresher.
