Highly entertaining cozy. Great first book! Who is killing members of the film company? What does the glass cat have to do with it? Great twists and turns that have you heading in completely the wrong direction. Altogether a terrific read!

Although a murder mystery, this contains several moments which made me laugh out loud. Delightfully dotty it intrigues and entertains quite well. The story is well set with plenty of diverse characters, a good sprinkling of red herrings and an ample collection of potential suspects. We are deliberately led astray in our thinking as more than one person is set up to be the killer. On several occasions I was worried that our protagonist was putting herself into mortal peril, but who on earth can she trust? That is not always very clear. There is also a parallel story of a missing cat, but where does it fit in with the rest of the story and why is it so important? The story is laced throughout with odd behaviours from tea leaf reading, psychic readings, to divining "truths" from pendulum swinging - except that Tuesday never actually gets anywhere with that because something always goes wrong whenever she tries it. The book would stand alone without all of that but it would be a totally different book, probably a lot darker.
I found it to be a fun story, despite the murder and mayhem, and devoured it in an afternoon. This may not be an earth shattering read but the ground does move!

Tuesday is a reader of tea leaves and does this in the Mulberry Cat Cafe in Hollywood.

One of her customers aptly named Holley Wood a sort of actress has auditioned for a new film and reckons they up for the major part.

One of the other contenders of the part is found dead an apparent heart attack but she is a young fit healthy woman.

Tuesday sees an M in the leaves and thinks it was a murder, this makes her client Holley a person of interest to the police.

The Directors right hand woman is next to be found dead from a heart attack, are these deaths linked and is there a murderer out there?

Tuesday is attracted to a man she sees at the police station and him to her, he loves her pink afro).

Lots of twists along the way and makes you wonder could it be this person or that.

Good easy read.

After I've read a good thriller I like something lightweight, well this is just too light. The story is so bland I've been skipping over lots of it to finish it quickly. There's better fluff out there.

Couldn't finish this as the plot was so tedious. The characters were forgetable and I cannot even remember the sleuth's name. It wasn't a cozy mystery just twee and contrived.
