I will keep this nice and concise as I am a bit lazy.

This is some really nice, blissed-out down-tempo. Musically very similar to some of the Chemical Brothers stuff with the psychedelic overtones. Also hads a slightly post-rock feel to some of the tracks, a-la Hammock (e.g 'Ecstatic Truth').

The highlight of the album is by far 'Raw Umber/Twilight', with it's blissedful, uplifting sound; staqrting off like a Pantha Du Prince track, before letting go into an ocean of bliss a-la M83, perhaps.

So, to summarize: buy this record if you like experimental, blissed out electronica music from the likes of Hammock, Chemical Brothers, Pantha Du Prince, Tycho, Ulrich Schnauss and M83

I can't see myself going professional anytime soon with reviews like these.

Happy Listening.

This is the 2nd album from Walls. It's really good ambient/ electronic music. The tone of the album shifts as it progresses. Some tracks are very upbeat and uplifting, others are more chilled.

I loved the first album and think this one is as good, if not better. This bodes well for the future!

I've had this for about a week or so now and listened in various states of mind in differing scenarios - by that I mean it could be first thing in the morning preparing breakfast for the family before work or late in the evening sipping a glass of wine; in each case this album has accompanied the setting perfectly well and as the week progressed it became more and more enjoyable. I travel frequently and am looking forward to this on the early morning flight this coming Monday, it will at least take away some of the pain of a early morning flights. If you enjoy The Field or the typical feel of Kompakt, you are likely to enjoy this. I've given it 4 stars as it hasn't blown me away but it's still a very nice album and may over time push up to the extra star. Recommended.

Discovered this album off the back of the Masterpiece compilation from Andrew Weatherall.
Utterly fantastic if you like your music, melodic, mellow yet full of substance. Each time you listen you discover layer upon layers of music built on top of each other.
Others have found similarities with composers such as Ulrich Schnauss, which I would agree with.
This is a band that I doubt you could reasonably stumble across without the help of someone with a huge musical ensemble and for that I thank Mr Weatherall.
An utter gem of an album.
