In which the late, great & belatedly lamented Johnny Thunders teams up with ex- Destroy All Monster ( try & keep up) Patty Palladin and presumably had a ball recording some of their favourite old songs. Lovely warm production befitting the choice of 'girl band' heavy songs ,( by La Palladin herself) draw you into a very entertaining romp of an album. From the psychadelic tinged "Can't seem to make you mine" via Elvis classic "Crawfish" among others and including a take on "Love is Strange" which would not alienate fans of "Dirty Dancing" (honest). It's fair to say Patti outsings Johnny but then she would, wouldn't she? And I'm sure nobody cared. All this and a cameo by the wonderful Chrissie Hynde.
Remember him THIS way, along with LAMF - I for one like to to think of him having a great time making this record away from the apparently almost unrelenting chaos of his life. If he didn't he was a better actor than Marlon Brando.

Bit ashamed to say I only recently 'got into' Johnny Thunders and what a mistake that was.
It's rock 'n Roll more than punk and contains some really good, even catchy songs, brilliantly performed.
Brilliant idea to put these two artists together!
