Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

My impressions of that keyboard:
- the keyboard is indeed pretty silent when I press keys, BUT it IS noisy when I release a key. So, as a silent keyboard, this product fails.
- it is very pleasant to type on. I type on it as fast as on a Cherry-based keyboard or on an Apple aluminium keyboard, and way faster than on a cheap keyboard. Also, keycaps are sculpted which improves accuracy. As a productivity tool, this product is a winner.
- the keyboard's case is very tall at the front; it seems its box comes from the same factory as a majority of mechanical keyboards on the market. It is likely that a wrist rest will be required to avoid RSI. In term of convenience and health, that's a fail.
- the cable is detachable (I personally don't care). But it is micro-USB and I'm pretty sure that fragile connector will die the day the cable is accidentally pulled. That's a fail in term of reliability.
- part of the keyboard's body is made with a very soft rubber, like the one used on the back of some smartphones. It's a fingerprint magnet, and it doesn't look good.
- dampening O-rings are provided, but they are useless. No idea why they are included as the keyboard doesn't use Cherry switches.
- the keyboard's bezel is thin, like a majority of mechanical keyboards on the market (except the Blackbird for example). A plus to prevent shoulder pain.
- I'm not sure what manufacturing process was used for keycaps. It's not double shot or laser. A very slight embossing can be felt under finger tips, but it is not as noticeable or as thin as on a Majestouch 2. A plus in term of longevity.
Overall, the keyboard isn't too bad, but it also demonstrates that Topre keyswitches are not silent contrary to what their marketing says.
Highly recommended, with a feel and sound to please the touch and ear. At the time of writing, it's a steal at £100 considering those manufacturers offering Topre switch keyboards are asking double that (e.g. RealForce) in the UK.
Mine is unquestionably a UK (ISO) layout - the one with the inverted, fat L-shaped Return key. Since it's advertised as UK layout, I doubt very much that Amazon would quibble about a return if it proves not to be so.
As for the design aspect of the NovaTouch TKL, it is rather simple, which is OK. While I would have loved to of seen some white backlighting on this keyboard, I can kind of understand why they didn’t put any. In my opinion, CM wanted it to seem a bit more professional like and as such, tried to stay away from any gimmicks, which LED backlighting can be in some cases. Other than that, it is a solid TKL keyboard that does, in fact, look quite professional, which is rather nice.
Lastly, the value and this is where we get let down quite a bit. For the price, you are getting a solid performing keyboard, but there are no features or added benefits to help set it aside from the rest. I mean, there isn’t even any backlighting on it, which I feel is a bit of a shame in this day and age. Yes, you can do backlighting without going crazy and making it look gimmicky over overly gamer like. However, when compared to keyboards from other companies that feature the Topre switch, the NovaTouch is a tad bit cheaper, so make of it what you will. At the end of the day, it does offer a great experience so value will be down to the individual user and their needs though I do feel personally it is priced a bit high especially considering it only comes with a 2-year warranty!
