It is the same box and the only difference is the full white side panels. One pays between 1/4 to 1/3 more just to have the panels sprayed back!
Actually one of side black panels has pre-drill holes, near the CPU position, to assist heat dissipation which is beneficial but not at the extra money demanded. The box has full mesh panel at the front, the rear and the top so some extra small holes at one side are not going to make much difference.
I bought an older version of the same box in black before which still has USB2 connection. The current model has USB3.
The extra Sata bay at the top is very useful for slotting another base hard disk in quickly as a fast docking station. Its connection is by USB2 though.
For getting the USB3 one has hook up with the supplied connector to the motherboard which must have the USB3 controller outlet.
Some things to note :
This version doesn't have the 2 fans on the left side or the 1 small fan on the right.
It also doesn't come with the SLI bracket but I believe you can buy it and use it with this case.
It also has a bit less room between the motherboard and tray as I would like. The bacjokate of my be quiet advanced is pressing against it slightly bending it (not much of a problem except I would be able to put in on /off without removing the motherboard.
Apart from those couple of things a very resent case for an even more decent price.
