As I perused the book, I had a better idea. These recipes are simple enough for my granddaughter to help me with, and after finishing each one, we can color the accompanying picture, building an album of fun and memories.
The illustrations are more along the lines of a child's coloring book than an adult's, but both you and your child could enjoy a coloring/cooking project together.
