Construction is metal and durable plastic. Feels very robust. 5/5
Attaching the Camera to the Mount
Very simple. I used the screw mount. 5/5
Sticking the Mount on the Windscreen
Easy. Press the big button and flip the lever - done. The grip of the suction cup is very strong indeed, impressively so. 5/5
Adjusting the Angle.
Easily adjustable. 5/5
Removing the Mount from the Windscreen
A little tricky at first as the suction cup is so powerful. That said, you want it t stick! The trick to easily removing it is to flick the lever, use one hand to remove the suction cup and the other to hold the camera. 5/5
A robust mount which does the job of keeping your camera pointing where it should. Recommended. 5/5
Then staring sadly (since i needed mount for tomorrow at silverstone on motorbike) i started to wonder why the hell there was an ikea key in the box (ok allen key).
i had actually at that stage mildly unscrewed the new bracket and threaded the old bracket half way into the small disc screw wondering how long a camerag threaded in about 2 full circles would hold at 100mph tomorrow! when a light shone in my head, looking into the main mounted ball with the thread stem poking out if you look at the end of the stem into the dark metal you can make out small groves! yes you have to use allen key to unscrew the "screw" or threaded stem as i call it. then you can nicely screw the old bracket into the ball mount. hope this helps any other hapless soul wondering what is going on.
panic over, relief and general good feeling at having solved mystery.
BUT PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PUT A BLINKING PICTURE OF INSTRUCTIONS IN!!!!
anyway i will let you know tomorrow if the thing held onto the motorbike or went flying down the track.
Overall- great product.
Note: Always use a tether, you just never know if it may pop off due to a dirty surface or something!
This was until about a couple of days ago, where it has begun unexpectedly losing all suction and falling off with no notice what-so-ever. I tried some experiments with attaching it to a glass pane on my door, and although it stayed in place for about an hour, it fell off soon after, without any extra loading. This unexpected loss of suction has actually led my camera lens to smash and is now unusable
Overall a quality item with a very supple plastic suction base to fit to my car windscreen or exterior panels.
Hope this helps as I bought it without seeing it in real life & those were my concerns.

Worked like a charm! Used it on a motorcycle tour for a week and never had an issue with it stuck to the windshield. The video looks great too!Published on 28 Aug. 2014 by D. Mozingo
This mount holds the ContourRoam 2 perfectly. It also manages to stay stuck to my car windscreen without falling off or any further adjustments. Perfect!Published on 12 April 2014 by KayleighT49
the suction cup is very strong in both wet and dry, the camera does screw on tight but the little grip thats spose to scew up the thread and hold the camera tight doesn't really do... Read morePublished on 28 Sept. 2013 by Matthew C. Stobie
